Outdated comments on older pets

It annoys me that many older pets have several pages of outdated pre-Cata comments. Some comments are from before big changes, and we all know they are incorrect now. And even some pets that haven't had big official changes, I feel there may have been more subtle changes, like tweaked drop rates. I'd like to see people's most recent observations and tips. Sorting by rating is no help. I don't think I can now downrate comments I uprated earlier when they were correct, and it doesn't matter because almost no one else is currently rating comments on old pets, so the comment ranks never change.
The default sort is by date, but that puts the oldest comments first. Could it be changed to put the newest comments first? Casual visitors won't realize they have to go to page 7 or whatever to find any useful information. It also makes posting new information on an old pet feel like a waste of time, since no one will see it. Or maybe have one link for sorting oldest to newest, and a second link for newest to oldest, so at least people can quickly change to see it that way?
