Trample is really terrible, because it's split into 10 base dmg, and 10% opponent health. The 10 base damage is affected by shields, so Trample suffers from a shield just as much as any regular single-hit attack. And the 10 base damage benefits from power, while the 10% health benefits from opponent health. So if you choose PP, then you only get half the benefit of that extra power when you use Trample. This would be so much better as 20% opponent health instead.
I like Trample only because it's a nice demonstration that they really intended 10 base damage to be equal to 10% health.
Drain Blood is the most interesting %-based ability right now, but that's more to do with the sheer numbers than being %-based. 10% damage and 30% heal, which is extremely potent for a 3 turn cd.
