Perhaps I got lucky, but what worked for me was:

Darkmoon Zeppelin, open with decoy, Missile until the zepp uses its failsafe passive, and then Explode. After that, used the Menagerie Custodian, Shock and Awe and Zap. I can't remember clearly if I had time to use Ion Cannon or not, though. The Custodian was eventually force swapped out with my Son of Animus. Lil' Oondasta's so slow, I was able to make use of Interrupting Jolt, and then alternate between Metal Fist and Siphon Anima.

The star of this battle for me was my Darkmoon Tonk. Since Lil' Oondasta is very slow, I put the tonk in the opening position and blasted him immediately with Ion Cannon. Right after that he uses the force swap ability so I didn't have to worry about two turns with nothing to do. Hit him a few times with another hard-hitting mech and swap back to the tonk when it dies for another blast. I only needed one hit from my third pet to finish him off.

I went with thundering serpent fro the mech damage off the bat, he died pretty much after that but then used gnome to whack up a turret beat some hp outta him while I could till death then son of animus came in and finished him off. not a hard fight once you work out your own strat I guess, but a welcome addition to pet battles

1. Mechanical Yeti - Lightning storm (he gets switched out)
2. Clockwork Gnome - Turents
3. Punch
4. Punch
5. Clockwork Gnome. - Turrents.

I won without even bringing out my 3rd pet ( something with Ion cannon). Oon missed one of his attacks on gnome, which made it easier.. but even still, I barely had 1 dead pet who died on on the same round as Oon.

Partially stolen from another post but I'd do

Custodian or Darkmoon tonk to open with ion cannon and get swapped out while you cool down.

Bring in a stunted direhorn with stamped. His attacks will be weak. On the turn you know you are going to die stamped for the debuff.

Bring back in the tonk and ion cannon for huge dmg shouldn't even need a third pet.

I used Mechanical Gnome (Turrets!), Menagerie Custodian and Darkmoon Tonk. Shock and Awe are pretty good.

Worked AWESOME for me:

Tranquil Mechanical Yeti
Key skills: Call Lightning

Clockwork Mechanical Gnome
Key skills: Build Turret, Metal Fist

Jade Oozeling
Key skills: Corrosion, Acidic Goo

Turn 1, send out Yeti, use Call Lightning (all mechanical attacks do more damage, all attacks add an extra lightning strike). Oon will blast Yeti, sending it to the back row.

Turn 2-5, use Gnome to set up two turrets and use Metal Fist in between. The turrets deal damage three times each round each, so that's three lightning strikes per round. Each turret set up gets a total of 12 bonus lightning strikes. Gnome will likely be killed for good after turn 5.

Turn 6: Jade Oozeling sent out, use Corrosion to increase the damage of all attacks against Lil' Oon. The two turrets up will then hit a total of six times, followed by six lightning strikes, all amplified by the Corrosion. If Lil' Oon is still up, use Acidic Goo to do even more damage.
