Stones Since 5.2?

I've not yet had a single Flawless stone of any sort drop from mobs since 5.2 dropped. A friend mentioned the same happening. Is this just a matter of particularly bad luck, or is there something going on? Has anyone managed to get a Battle Stone since the patch dropped?

I had an elemental stone drop from a tamer last night.

I got a mech stone from the fabled bag too.

As for PVP, they said there would be a chance to get a stone, but after 20 wins, it appears to be a very remote chance.

I should correct myself: I got stones from the tamer bags, but none from random battles in the wild. And I've been doing a lot of those!

I had a random stone from a random battle not too long ago, and I think it was just post-5.2, but I could be mistaken. I've finished many, many wild battles and only ever received four of the random stones, plus a couple of family-specific stone.

I have had 2 more Aquatic stones and 1 Elemental since 5.2.

I wish I would stop getting Aquatics, I have 5 of the damn things in the past few days.

I must have exceedingly bad luck now at getting a stone because it's been weeks since I've had one drop. And this is after hundreds (no. not kidding. hundreds) of pet battles in the last three to four weeks. I've not got a single stone even in bags. I battle for hours PER NIGHT and nothing.

Normally I'll get one or two in an hour (not necessarily the 'creatureless' type, but in general), but this time, nothing for a couple of days. Apparently just a dry spell, if people's luck is anything to go by. Thanks for the reassurance at least!

I used to get a number of stones from dailies and wild pet battles. I would get at least 1 stone a day, the highest number I got was 6 stones from the bags. Since patch 5.2, I felt that the drop rate has been nerfed. I am sure Blizzard will not admit they nerfed it but I am seeing far less drops.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue.. I had been averaging 1-2 stones per 6 pets levelled out in the wild but since the new patch, the only stones I've seen have been in daily bags even though I had levelled over a dozen pets up..

I was beginning to wonder if I had somehow upset the mighty rng lol..

Your luck is almost exactly like mine. I've been dry since 5.1 dropped. I haven't had a single stone drop in at least 2000 battles. I guess I need to start doing the dailies again... especially since the Porcupette still eludes me.

I've noticed less stone drops from my daily bags as well. Could the RNG gods be punishing me for using the Sunlight-Life Exchange-Impale combo against legendaries?

I've had 3 from bags since 5.2, 1 from the elites and 2 from normal tamers - none of them of any use, BAH!!

Also, my son was leveling my new raptors, and got a magic stone drop from the Eye's in Deadwind Pass, so they're still around

Ugh, my Attumen (2 years, 5 toons a week) luck needs to stop rubbing off on my pets, then!

I wish aquatic stones would stop dropping for me. I am actually avoiding battling against aquatic wild pets because I do not want to get more of these yet if I happen to receive a stone from the bags, 90% of the time they are aquatic stones.

its still RNG and since 5.2 I have the impression they drop more often - but thats just my luck I guess
