WoW Insider is reporting that the Beta for the next expansion is starting to show up on some people's battle.net accounts.

Looks like the beta will be starting sooner rather than later.

So why am I posting this here in pet battles instead of in one of the other threads about the beta? Because I wanted to see if there was any interest in organizing a group from here to play on the same server and try out the pet battle system together (if and when it gets activated in the beta).

So... is there interest in that sort of thing?

I know I'm interested in testing the pet battles!

Doob and I are on the Lost Isle (US) server. He'll be creating a horde WarcraftPets guild and I've already started the same for the Alliance side. Feel free to PST Quint for a beta guild invite!

As I'll likely be copying my orc with his massive collection of pets to the test realm, I'll probably be joining the Horde WCP guild. Is Doob the name of the character we should pm for an invitation on that side?

I'm in beta and copied over ... I'm not seeing how to do battles, hopefully someone smarter than me will get in and explain things. I can summon a noncombat pet, they get their own pet bar which messes with my shaman and her dogs. But beyond that nada. ~ K

I read that the pet battles arent up and running on the beta server, tho i dont have access, so i cant confirm it :)

I copied my Arji there a while ago. But had some buggs patching and login on.
