Going to confirm my own question i asked way earlier. Just did a pet battle with Nishi with 1 25 alive and a lvl 6 pet and still received the full xp (4.8k) so the update should be live as of now on the US realms at least

Confirming Crandor's post: Tried it with the WS Tamer, 1 round on a level 7 and 2 25s wiping the floor with everything...and it's definitely working, a little over 2k exp to the level 7.

Just to clarify, anyone tried does this work in wild battles too and not just in tamers?

So I'm not home yet and when I get there I'm making supper so...

Any idea how much level 10 pets get from the critter battles in the Farmland?

How about level 20 pets?

Thanks all

So I'm home...meatloaf in the oven...smells delicious...and...I'm confused.

Did an all critter battle in the Heartland with my Darkmoon bunny. He took out all 3 pets by himself. He is level 22. He got 512xp

Did another all critter battle, same place, same level pets. Did one attack with the bunny and then swapped to my Flayer Youngling and finished them off. He got 682xp.

???? Color me confused ???

It's probably due to level difference. On the wowwiki page, search for 'Calculating experience'. This may not be totally up-to-date, especially with the recent changes to the bonus XP for tamers, but it should be at least close.

Pacer wrote:Now that it has been hotfixed did anyone figure out teams (of 2 pets) that can take down all the trainers?
You want a single two pet team for every trainer or recommendations of two pet teams for each trainer?

I prefer two pets for each trainer that can take them down quickly and effectively. I know that the emerald proto whelp can take down yon (and probably others too) by himself but its too slow for my taste.
Alrighty.

Lydia (Deadwind Pass): Red Cricket (Bandicoon)
Trixxy (Winterspring): Flayer Youngling
Antari (Shadowmoon Valley): Infinite Whelpling (Onyxian Whelpling) + Flayer Youngling (RNG Backup)
Payne (Icecrown): Fluxfire Feline + Flayer Youngling
Obalis (Uldum): Jade Oozeling + Fluxfire Feline
Hyuna (Jade Forest): Fluxfire Feline + Infinite Whelpling (Onyxian Whelpling)
Mo'ruk (Krasarang): Fluxfire Feline + Infinite Whelpling (Onyxian Whelpling)
Aki (Vale of Eternal Blossoms): Jade Oozeling (Disgusting Oozeling) + Onyxian Whelpling (Spawn of Onyxia)
Nishi (Valley of the Four Winds): Eternal Strider (Aqua Strider/Dancing Water Skimmer) + Anything (RNG backup)
Yon (Kun-Lai Summit): Jade Oozeling + Fluxfire Feline
Zusshi (Townlong): Jade Oozeling + Infinite Whelpling (Onyxian Whelpling)
Shu (Dread Wastes): Fluxfire Feline + Infinite Whelpling (Onyxian Whelpling)
Whispering Pandaren Spirit (Jade Forest): Soul of the Aspects + Pandaren Water Spirit
Thundering Pandaren Spirit (Vale of Eternal Blossoms): Bandicoon + Darkmoon Tonk (NOTE: Some RNG involved with this setup and requires a fast Bandicoon to avoid getting too far behind on damage against Earth Spirit when starting with lowbie pet)
Flowing Pandaren Spirit (Dread Wastes): Fluxfire Feline + Any non Elemental
Burning Pandaren Spirit (Townlong): Infinite Whelpling + Jade Oozeling

The above should work fairly well barring excessively bad RNG.

Puluz wrote:also, some sort of a system to keep better track of the available daily trainers or (optional) marker on your map that shows where they are located would be awesome.
The addon I've been using to help me track dailies is called SavedInstances (http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/saved_instances) which keeps track of dailies you've done on all your characters as well as all your lockouts. As for locations I've just got TomTom installed with a macro to mark the locations of all the Pandaria tamers.

Any thoughts on the other trainers in Outlands and NR that don't give bags? This is a FANTASTIC list, I'm going to start focusing on the pets you mention that I don't have at 25 yet!

Suspiro, you seem to use Jade Oozeling a lot, any particular ability set you fight with?

Absorb, Corrosion, Acidic Goo

The damage, and subsequently the healing, is amplified by both dots to the point of restoring roughly 300 health per use. The dots also amplify each other to deal roughly 350 damage per turn on opponents without weaknesses or defenses to them. Of the pets with indentical abilities, Jade Oozeling has the highest power and lowest hp making the Magical passive kick in sooner and making the Absorb damage/heal for more.

The magical passive is: cannot lose more than 50 % hp of max health at once.

If you have 1400 hp and get hit for 900, you will only receive 700 dmg. It doesn't mean that you heal more or damage more with absorb. Anyway: the passive is always passive right from the start. It isn't triggered like with the beasts, dealing 25 % more damage when under 50 % hp.

Unless I am missing something? Please enlighten me if you know something I don't :)
