Did Blizz nerf Kura/Erris fight xp?

I just did the battle against Kura's team of Draenor pets. Today she had the tv show lineup - peacock (NBC), firefly (Mal of Firefly), bone serpent (Dr. McCoy).
I used lvl 25 Nether faerie dragon, lvl 25 sprite darter, and lvl 22 Feline Familiar. However, when the battle was over, instead of the expected few thousand xp for my magic kitty, all I got was a measly 47 xp.
Is this intended or a bug? Did Blizz nerf the xp from the traveling trainers like they nerfed the menagerie xp?
