So - here's how it works. If you participate in my Twitch TV stream, you have a chance to win an in-game Battle.net store pet!

It only lasts for an hour - I queue with the entered teams and try and win!

At the end of the hour, I pick a random winner and e-mail them an in-game Battle.net store pet!

Out of curiosity, how is the pet reward selected? For example, do you pick a random pet store pet or do you check to see if they already have that pet?

Since you're in the Twitch stream and can respond via chat text - I simply ask the winner which store pet they want Some have opted for me choosing, some have told me what they'd like. It's whatever.

It's great fun actually!!

Glad you can at least post about it here. Some crybaby on the Battle.net forums kept reporting Chibi whenever the post would go up. I just wanted to say that I'll be on next week to contribute a team, Jen! I've been pretty busy the past week or so, and I just learned that I'll be getting hired for a full-time job on 3rd shift...so my evenings are wide open! Thursday, 7:30pm EST...seeya there!

Twitch stream temporarily closed, the battle.net store pet reward shut down.


Blizzard banned me in the forums for reporting someone's illegal pet name - because I used a screen shot of the armory to prove they had a bad pet name and apparently, using a screen shot of a public website is against the Code of Conduct.

They didn't get a ban, though. Of course not. Because using special characters to get around naming conventions is what World of Warcraft is all about!

But I got banned for reporting them. So, I really don't want to give them $10 a week anymore.


I've had several people give me different ideas for a stream still but at this point I'm not the Blizzard fan I used to be.

Unreal ! I've heard nothing but great things about your streaming pet battles project and it is something Blizzard should be rewarding you for IMO !

Blizzard does turn a blind eye to class-less name usages and it's unfortunate they are choosing to protect people like that and in turn punish a genuine, grassroots promoter of their product.

Short sighted moves like this break spirit ...too bad ! Hope you revive the project somehow..and thanks for your efforts to promote pet battles.

Thanks Tek - I actually got a response to my appeal this morning and got a big whopping apology and a reinstatement.

Now I'm considering starting back up - so only one week lost!

I love new blood - I have my regulars who are fun (and I've made so many friends!) but new teams and new people are fun too! Send in your team ideas and watch me play them! If you are present at the Twitch stream AND you sent in a team for me to try, you're entered! It's simple!

Eeek last minute thing - no stream tonight but definitely next week!!
