I have an addon that tells me what Breed ID each pet is, Pettracker or pokemon trainer, anyways, I have a few pets with a breed id of '???'.

Anyone know what this could mean?

It means that multiple breeds share the same stats and the addon cannot tell you what you have. These are most likely grey or white level 1 pets. Level them up to level 2 or stone them to green and you should see the breed. Or check them on http://petsear.ch/.
