Seeing 3 on the AH of EU Draenor. 2 boxed and 1 opened. It appears to be P/P breed.

10 speed

I speculate that its a rare present from the abominable grinch daily, since the Winter veil presents is not available yet.

Rotten Little Helper is uncommon upon learning.

I did the daily on nine toons today (including a lvl 82 hunter so you don't have to be 90) and got the new pet and Lumpy once each.

According to the US pet forum, the lvl 25 stats are:

1359 health
333 power
260 speed

That's quite a lot of power for a pet with a Landmine move. I want one.

Drop rate seems unpleasant though. I took something like 9 characters through the daily and no luck. None have hit our AH yet either.

I've seen a few up on AHs around the place - so it doesn't seem like an impossibly rare drop, but after 8 attempts so far, I'm yet to see it (4 left for today).

*edit* day 2 puts me at 24 tries, 0 pets. "Best" item I've gotten from a present has been fruitcake. Oh, so much fruitcake.

Got one on my first try and then got two lumpys in the remaining three characters I did it on.

I got 1 out of 9 tries. Doesn´t seem to be very rare, don´t spend a lot of gold until the last day. I stoned mine and put it on the AH for 10k. LOL There are already 8 listed on Illidian

15 toons and nothing but 1 Lumpy to show for it.

9 tries again this morning, two Lumpy and one Clockwork Bot.

With only four characters that qualify, my options are very limited no luck with any of the pets so far, but shall keep trying!

Ended buying a [pet]Rotten Little Helper[/pet] for 3k. Took a while to find someone with realistic expectations. EU draenor AH is filled with them ranging from 10-20k. LOL no I say, a damn season pet!

Definitely this. Wowhead's data are contaminated with stolen presents from last year, which couldn't contain Rotten Helper, so the droprate appears artificially low there. Wowdb wipes its data between patches, but consequently doesn't have enough data for Stolen Present yet.

Some quick math from the responses in this thread (including my own 1/3) gives 5 helpers from 115 presents, which supports something like a 3-5% droprate. Lil Bling is a 2% droprate, and we already saw how fast Lil Bling's value plummeted within just a couple weeks of becoming available.

However Winter Veil is only here for a limited time, then supply dries up. Unlike Blingtron whom keeps generating tons of new gifts daily.

Right, we'll have 2 weeks of Stolen Presents, which is why I made the comparison to Lil Bling prices within 2 weeks of its release. I think we can expect a similar trend -- ie prices will end up in the 500g range by the end of those 2 weeks. But probably with a bit of a Moon-Moon effect too -- ie people will panic on the last day or 2 and buy one if they haven't gotten it themselves, leading to an uptick in prices.

The only danger is if a large majority of people just do the daily quest once and then forget about it. This would be people who don't care about the rewards but just want to do it once for an achievement or completeness' sake. After all, the only good rewards are the pets, and pet collectors are not exactly the majority of players. If this is the case, the supply could potentially take a nosedive after that initial wave sells off their helpers.

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll know which way it's trending until we see several days' worth of data.
