What?!! No Snowy Owl?!!

Post by Annys » November 1st, 2013, 6:42 am

I stood up all night for the game to reset and found no Snowy Owls. I decided to go to sleep and see if when I got up maybe they would be there...nope nothing! :( I have been reading and I have seen posts from people stating that Blizz has changed the seasons so that it coincides with the our real winter season, which will be in December (uggh!). Can anyone confirm this? And if its true...that means more waiting for my title!!

So far as I can remember, in game seasons have only changed when they change in real time. I remember this from trying catch certain fish that only spawn during particular seasons. And I also recall it from chasing the Snowy Owl last year myself. Day and night match, seasons match, holidays match....
**Edit**Also, my Blossoming Ancient is still in his fall leaves.

A small aside; this should probably be in Pet Collecting, not (US) Pet Trading.

I put it here because I am located in the US and I wanted to know what my fellow US pet collectors thought. If its against Warcraft Pets policy to post this here then my bad.

December 21st. As someone who has been waiting for the Zookeeper title since well before Qiraji Guardling, I can confirm the date.

when your [pet]Blossoming Ancient[/pet] turns white, you'll know the [pet]Snowy Owl[/pet]'s are up.

But what if you don't have a blossoming ancient.

Ash, in game seasons generally coincide with the real time solstice/equinox for the associated season. Winter Solstice is December 21st. Spring Equinox March 20, 2014. Summer Solstice June 21, 2014. Autumnal Equinox September 23, 2014. Keep an eye on your calendar or just look it up with Google.

Best way to tell when this pet or any seasonal pet for that matter is available and out is pull out your blossoming ancient :)
