Grey Moths have become the bane of my existance. I swear I have killed over 100 of them tonight alone and still nothing higher than a green >.<

Finally got one! I would have to say based on my experience that the drop rate on those is something like .5%....no lie

I've killed a fair few [pet]Eternal Strider[/pet]s and have yet to see a rare. Fortunately the rare [pet]Dancing Water Skimmer[/pet] that I got as a secondary fills the same role quite nicely, but I'm seriously considering using a stone on the uncommon that's sitting in my collection.

Examples:
Coral Adder.. I've seen (and captured) a single uncommon.. Never seen a rare, but plenty of grey/white.
Spawn of Onyxia.. I've never seen anything but grey/white..
For these 2, I'd say, rare is less than 1%.

However, Mirror Strider, Dancing Waterskimmer and Dung Beetle, all seem to be 50+% rares..
The most luck I have had with finding a rare Coral Adder is at the Timeless Isle as a secondary pet, I have seen three so far.

And I have to agree with you I think the % of rares vary depending on the pet.
