So with the TK and Serpentshrine changes in the 5.3 PTR notes, it seems we'll be getting a set of TBC raid pets. Mumper pretty much confirmed this on Twitter (twitter. com/mumper/status/315500523333754881 - Sorry, I don't have enough posts to put a real link yet!)

So, anyone want to throw out some guesses / wishes about what we'll see?

Personally, I'm hoping for a Mini Magtheridon!

Anything from Karazhan is bound to be awesome. Especially if it's based on either Nightbane or Netherspite.

Personally, I'd love to see them use ths opportunity that the Hyjal raid presents to finally offer a Bronze Whelpling.

They won't give us one of those until they make a new model for them.
The reason they won't make hydras tamable by hunters is because the art team doesn't like the hydra model.

Yeah, if there's new raid pets there definitely be a new achievement for collecting them all

Guessing there won't be a nether dragon style pet since that would be awfully close to the Nether Whelp and they like to keep the CE pets somewhat special.

But maybe a naga (or a kraken in a bubble), undead pets from Kara (perhaps an abyssal from Malchezaar), a mini gronn or pit lord, perhaps a void elemental from TK... possibilities. I doubt they'd go so far as to do a unique model for a tiny Illidan as the reward pet -- but that would be cool.

I'm a bit surprised that they're already coming out with another set of raid pets. I guess it's one way to make older content interesting again without having to re-do everything. XD

God... I REALLY hope they don't do that to us one pet from the opera bosses would be bad enough. I'm looking forward to see what they come up with for pets; BC had some sweet looking boss models with very few of them being an actual playable race, so lots of possibilities Maybe some more magic and undead pets? still don't have a lot of usefull ones for those families

Remembering what it was like trying to get gear that dropped from specific opera events... it would not be awesome at all.

Good grief, that brings back some memories!

I don't need an excuse to go back to Kara (it's my favourite raid of all time) so more than happy if they put some pets in there too!

I'd be OK with running opera every week to be honest, it's the thought of having to listen to Kael'thas' long boring speeches and then get disappointed once for a pet and once for the mount that makes me weep tears of violent rage.

Can I second the My Little Midnight even more strongly? It's one of my favorite mounts, mostly due to it's fangs.
