I have been working on the various Battle Pet achievements. I am totally stumped on one of them. How do I capture a dragonkin if there aren't any wild ones? I may just be missing something obvious here.

There are several wild ones, though I think they probably start around level 12. They are not as abundant as many of the other types though.

There are a few wild dragonkin to catch.

Spawn of Onyxia in Dustwallow Marsh, Emerald Proto Whelp in Sholazar, Nether Fairie Dragon in Feralas, Infinite Whelps in Tanaris and the Wild Hatchlings in Jade Forest is what comes to mind.

This is likely the easiest and lower level 9-12 I think, to collect and very abundant at Dire Maul area.

Also a very nice pet. Something that should be seriously considered to adding into your team. The dodge mechanic and Moonfire abilities are amazing for soaking damage and helping your team with the increased healing from Moonfire.
