With the exception of some "glitches" all battle pets come in all rarities. I would recomend only having 2 of each pet at a time in case you find another rare in another color/different stats.

thanks for the info, 2 hours of fighting in Ungoro crater with no blue fire beetle i was starting to wonder.. yeah i do try to get 3 .. 2 greens and a blue of each pet
