What I learn by doing dumb things

Tried to cage one of my two Widget pets and it just disappeared, no longer in Journal and not in bags. Wondered if I'd maybe clicked Release by accident instead of Put in Cage but checked my remaining Widget and Release wasn't an option. Opened a ticket.
Got curious and did some experimenting. Turns out that you can't Release a cageable pet unless you have more than one. Had never realized that before.
Happy ending! Yeah, I'd clicked (and confirmed, duh) Release. GM restored the lost pet.

I wasn't aware of that. That's good to know! Thanks for sharing ^^ It does seem quite odd, though, that you can even release a cageable pet. I guess it's a way to get rid of all those Fishys!

OMG - yes, I have so many of those darn things. I can add to the list Wolpertinger, Creepy Crate, Miniwing, the two Curious pets from Children's week..., and of course the Horde and Alliance balloons :O.

So many Spring Rabbits.. but I just can't bring myself to dump them.. yet.. I can sadly see the 1000 pet cap not too far away and then it will be time to trim down..
But.. I SHALL ALWAYS KEEP MY 3 [pet]MR. BIGGLESWORTH[/pet]S!!!
