Fel pup follies

Just a note of warning about this pet. It is easy enough to beat Ceraxis and get the quest. The rare spawns every 45 minutes or so.
My error was that i forgot that my pet log was maxed out so turning in the quest gave me nothing...I couldnt abandon the quest because it said I completed it ..but no pet in my journal or in the mail.
I did try to see if i could pick up the npc after the rare spawned again but no go...I put in a ticket..but I post this in case anyone else is running the risk near their pet limit

Edit- a blizz gm granted me the pet ...i had cleared pet stable space in advance
