Guild Herald/Page Question

Hey everyone!
I am royally confused on the Guild Herald/Page pet stuff.
I have the alliance ones on my main, Joyia. Good. But I ALSO want the Horde ones. I *believe* I need to have a Horde character, who is exalted with her guild, buy the two pets, and then - while I will NOT be able to summon and use them on my Alliance Joyia, I will be able to SEE them in my pet journal and they will show up on the site.
Is that correct?

They will only show up on the site and the armory but not in the ingame pet journal. Even a different alt on the same faction has to buy both pets to see/use them from the journal.
