Duplicate pets

Does anyone have any good advise on which pets that is a must to have a duplicate of?

Back before Draenor when pet people did the Celestial Tournament faithfully every week, was nice to have extras of a few of the more critical pets. Like an extra Chrominius in case RNG gods frowning on you and you lost one early in the matches.
Mostly I've been happy with just one maxxed rare of any pet though sometimes do some selling and trading to get the particular pet with the specific talents I want.

IMO there's no pets that you MUST have a duplicate of (any duplicates I have are strictly for their skins).
That said, as Ranok mentioned, some people liked having multiples of certain pets like Chrominius, Pandaren Water Spirit, and Unborn Valkyr for the CT. But I got through it just fine with one of each. And if you plan on PVPing you may want to double up on certain pets, depending on your team and strategy of course.
