Base Quality in WoD

I was trying to calculate what battle-stones I want to keep for WoD pet collecting and I noticed a lot of the pets base quality is listed as Poor. Is that mainly because it is unknown at this stage?

It seems odd that you could get a poor quality pet from a holiday event.

Yes, new and currently unobtainable pets are temporarily listed as Poor quality until they can be collected and users begin importing them from the armory. We'll update their qualities once additional details come in.
