This has been stuck in the limbo of "too old for most people to care, but not old enough to be able to solo" for quite some time lol, so this is a welcome change.

I am up to 6 attempts per week. I am at 42 attempts so far. I will keep trudging on until I get it.
I might have a 7th character on this mission before this next reset.

No one seemed interested in grouping for a run, so I geared up my mages and leveled some guardian druids to be able to solo it.

42! I only at 13... As I only have one character good enough for that.

Like Mr. Pink said 30 years ago, "Some fellas are lucky and some ain't"

I got a couple of mounts in less than 10 attempts that were rated at 1%, so I figure the RNG has to balance me out with some bad ones.

If you are still doing this Dark, I would be interested.

You can farm after the Pommel Jewel of Remornia pet now in solo LFR with the current gear of (patch 10.1.5) Just go to Oribos and talk to Ta'elfar and choose "Tell me the one about an Audience with Arrogance". This will take you straight to the Sire Denathrius fight. (remember to do the first mechanic where you go the middle of the room to avoid dying from falling down.)

I got this method from wowhead, and have been farming it solo since. Up to 12 tries for me on the pet.

I got the pommel to drop recently. I think I was at 60 attempts.
I really dislike (Hate being a bit too strong) that so many uncagable pets are locked behind raids.
In my experience, most collectors (dare I say hardcore collectors) are not into competitive content.
