Sadly I don't have an alt on Madoran, I did, however get lucky and there is a guild Alliance side on Argent Dawn that is letting people join for the serpent pet. Tysent over in Dark Fist has a thread on the AD forums about it.

Brought my mage in, got my serpent and am still wandering about as a lowly Serpent Slave in DF LOL.

Oh I might have to make an alt for this. This is so exciting!!

So, if I roll a toon and come over just to level up to get the pet - is the pet account bound so my other toons elsewhwere will be able to play with it?

Yup! It's an account wide pet.

My friend forwarded this post to me on Facebook. We are both big pet collectors and I this is one that I am sadly missing. I haven't had a chance to get yet. I will be rolling a DK, as well. Do I just PST someone to join?

If you all need some help just PST Jorrian in the Warcraft Pets Guild. I am constantly ferrying people around to get some flight points so just holler, it'll be my pleasure. Or if have need of a mage that can port you places like Two Moons, from there I can take you to get the fp at Halfhill which is where I level my lowbie toons and pets. Awesome place. Woring on my 10th thru 12th level 90 doing that.

I joined yesterday ( Hi, this is Harkkoa/Scoop!) and I have to say this is the nicest group of folks I have played with in a very long time. From what I have seen so far, everyone is friendly, helpful and generally respectful of others. I received a warm welcome and I couldn't be happier to have joined.

There is still room. I'd recommend joining Magical Menagerie since it has the Thundering Serpent Hatchling unlocked.

Nevermind, found the answer in another thread!

Is the Thundering pet still available? I thought I read in the comment section that it was taken out of the guild vendor & only available via the Black Market Auction House now.

That is, sadly, correct. Except there is no record of it so far so it has to be in one of unclaimed containers.
