We all do it. Be it in sports, TV shows, or even around the office. You can't help but root for the underdog. But what about our pets? We pick our favorites, set our team, and go be as awesome as we can. All the while, those poor underdog pets are waiting for their chance to shine. Waiting for some lovin'.

What?: A pet tournament for all those underloved, underpowered pets. Round robin if we have under 8 entrants, double elimination if we have more.

Pet Level?: 25. Since there's no way to unlevel em and all.

Where?: Outside the Shrine of Two Moons In the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. It's a nice, quiet, open area. And as a plus, low level characters get a free trip to portal city.

When?: Tentatively Saturday June 15th, around 7 pm server.

Other Requiremets?: Character level 10+ so you can join raid. No entry fee required.

Okay okay, I know, you're saying "but what pets?!?!?!" Well, that's where I need your help! This list is a work in progress and will be edited as suggestions are made. What we're looking for is pets that aren't used much. Ones you *rarely ever* see used in PvP or whatever. No Anubisath Idol. No Fluxfire Feline. We're looking for the sad, lonely, underpowered, "ugly", "boring", neglected..... you get the picture. Also, if you disagree with any pets listed (maybe they're more mainstream than I realize?) please let me know!

AQUATIC
-Pengu or Mr. Chilly
-Fish (ie the carps, Fishy, Purple Puffer)
-Horny Toad (I seriously didn't even realize that was an aquatic)
-Spawn of G'nathus (We all want it, but how many have actually used it?)
-Basic Turtles (ie Speedy, Turquoise Turtle)

BEAST
-Giraffe Calf
-Maggots (seriously, ewwwww)
-Ravager Hatchling.

CRITTER
-Elekks (they're cute, but I've never seen them used)
-Armadillos
-Beetles or Roaches
-Pigs
-Skunks

DRAGON
-Dragonhawks
-Protodrake Hatchling

ELEMENTAL
-Tiny Twister
-Jade Tentacle
-Singing Sunflower
-Cinder Kitten (so cute, but rarely used)

FLYING
-Vendor Moths
-Turkeys (they used to be a popular stunlock team, but not anymore eh)

HUMANOID
-Moonkin Hatchling
-Harpy Youngling
-Peddlefeet

MAGIC
-Twilight Fiendling
-Jade Owl
-Any Lantern
-Mana Wyrmling/Shimmering Wyrmling

MECHANICAL
-Clock'em
-Anodized Robo Cub
-Clockwork Rocket Bots
-Tiny Harvester
-Warbot
-Cogblade Raptor
-Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
-Pet Bombling

UNDEAD
-Stitched Pup
-Infected Fawn/Squirrel
-Infested Bear Cub
-Spirit Crab
-Restless Shadeling
-Sen'jin Fetish
-Voodoo Figurine
-Fungal Abomination

****EDIT**** Changed level to 25, since it's not *that* hard to level em, and you can't unlevel em.
****EDITED AGAIN**** Apparently there's no June in Tizland and July comes after May.....

I'm in!!

Now I just need to find a team. Is there a way to un-level pets.

Darn my quick lvling pets. I would've had the perfect team if I didn't boost all them to lvl 25.

Oooh yeah, anodized is above 10, dang. Do you think we should do it at 20 or 25 instead then? I just didn't want to force folks to level pets they don't like to 25. Mind you it might get the underdogs some more love.

I just know my pets get leveled from 1 to 11 in 1 shot. Skip right over 10.

Okey doke then, we'll make it 25 after all. :) It's not *that* hard to level em, and it's like a month away.

A month away, Tiz? It says July - so, two months, correct?

Sure sounds like fun. Hope I can be there!

Ironically (imo) my "Love Stinks" team fits this to a 'T', so I guess I will be leveling that to use, lol. =) Looking forward to it!

1. Vendored Yellow moth (p/p) is one form the strongest flying pets, what will eat whole teams.
2. Oozes are great pvp pets what dont use so much cose wide dragonkin usage. Without dragonkins oozes just poison all around.
3. Blighthawk and Ghostly skull are only 2 pets with great pvp ability Ghostly Bite. Almost every day I see team with one from them.

Thanks for the input Papazol :) Think I'll leave the moth on, since there are a few dragons on the list, but oozes and the two undead are out.

Yup, stone upgraded is fine! There's lots on the list that aren't vendor pets, so there will be lots of "easily had" blues around, no quality restrictions.

Cant wait, I had so much fun at the last event(Harry Potter). Nice to be part of a guild that actually does things together. Are the pets in your list the only ones that can enter? I actually use some of those pretty regularly. with 5.3 hitting the streets today it should make this even more fun.

Yeah, the listed pets will be the only ones allowed this time. Trying to get folks away from the super popular pets. Trying new things is good, yes? I understand that some of these will be great, and some folks will already love them, but in general, they're underloved. At least, that's what we're going for ;)

Aw, with oozes off the list I gotta find something else to use, lol.

(Edit:)
Can I use Lesser Voidcaller and Harpy Youngling? Haven't seen them in pvp at all, so far.
