Visual Guide to Collecting Wild Pet Colors

The purpose of this guide is to assist in catching all the possible wild pet colors.

I have not included models when collecting all the pets automatically gives all the colors.

The pets listed for each color are not all-inclusive, but a selection to collect all the colors with as few wild pets as possible.

Pets with asterisks only come in one color.

Lisanette has generously agreed to allow me to link her model color charts within this guide.

Please post any corrections or needed updates.

Now updated for 8.0!

This guide is amazing and very helpful -- thanks! I hadn't even noticed the two types of wing edge on the different moths.

I don't think the Garden Moth and Crimson Moth have different skins. Although they appear that way on WarcraftPets, in-game they look identical (wings and all).

One way to be absolutely sure is to get Model Viewer and check what skins are available in with the red body/green wing coloration. I believe there's only one version that exists, but I haven't checked MV in a while.

Peanutbuttercup on Petopia pointed it out to me this morning. I totally overlook small details like that!

Aren't there a lot missing? Parrots come to mind, but I'm sure there's more.

Nyxlin, I chose to concentrate on wild pets for this guide. For example, as there is not any color overlap between wild parrots and non-wild parrots, I did not include any non-wild parrots.

Have added a new rabbit section. Thanks to Drahken, Kurasu and Tragica, I'm now aware of the Mountain Cottontail color variant that's a shiny white and has no whiskers.
