Breed ID Abbreviation Cheatsheet
I spent some time looking, because I didn't understand the abbreviations being used. Most of the resources I use specify a # for the Breed ID, as opposed to the (H/H) or (B/B) that are a bit easier to understand, but only if you know what you're looking at. Unfortunately, the amazing [url=http://www...

Re: Fabled Panderean Boss Pet Thread (Image Heavy!)
So if we can't be killed while battling these guys, are these guys going to be immune to attacks as well? Our attacks not pet attacks. Just trying to think of all the ways we could be griefed.

Re: Fabled Panderean Boss Pet Thread (Image Heavy!)
Speaking of % based attacks, it would seem I might need to train my brilliant kallari for the health % based insta-kill.

The other thing that might indicate new stuff, is a new pet trainer reward bag. Fabled Pandaren Pet Supplies looks like another daily trainer reward, similar to the spirit pet dailies.

Battle Stones from Wild Pets: Level Difference Calculation
I have been VERY unlucky getting any Battle Stones to drop from wild pets. Higher level wilds have a higher chance to drop stones. I think I also read that lower level pets defeating higher level wilds increases the drop chance as well. If that is incorrect, please ignore the rest of the post [excep...

Re: BreedID question
how much impact does Breed make on a wild battle and/or Tamer battle? Well, it is not nearly as important. On the PvP side, most everyone is going to bring their strongest pets to battle, which are going to be rares. Breed ID's are important as far as being able to out speed the opponent even if as...

Re: one-shot wonder (fluxfire feline)
One additional thought for my sadistically minded compatriots. This kitty needs to be a trainer pet of legendary quality. Maybe one of those "boss level" wild pets. Think of the level of difficulty! this would be the equivalent of "hard modes" implemented for raiders but implemented for pet battles!...

Re: one-shot wonder (fluxfire feline)
I would think that [pet]Lil' Ragnoros[/pet] would be a pretty good hard counter. Full disclosure: My raggie is neither lvl 25, nor have I been matched up against one of these little beasties. But I would think that setting Magma Trap would be very useful with it's stun. Mind you, the randomness of t...

Re: Team Up!
While we're talking about AOE, let me point out [pet]Lil' XT[/pet]. He has a move that makes him take 50% more damage the next turn, but if he takes damage, his damage output is doubled for two turns (three if he's slower than the enemy pet). When you combine that with his tantrum move, he's doing a...

Re: Battle-Stones vs. Rare Hunting
Finding a rare always leads to a great rush, -UNLESS- I'm hunting for a specific Breed ID, and then it becomes an even bigger let down when I find out it does not have the stats I'm looking for. However, I've found one battlestone in a daily bag, and that had about the same rush, but since I can cho...

Re: Help me understand Breed number please
I hadn't actually looked at that guide before Breanni, and the information and graphics you have in there are the best guide I've seen so far! It is DEFINITELY worth reading/bookmarking if anybody has questions concerning the mechanics. I really didn't answer your third question Onska, but this boar...

Re: Help me understand Breed number please
To answer the second part of your question, "How can I tell which breed ID my pet has?" you can use this site as a tool. 1st. Look up the pet you want to check on this site, and go to their "battle info" tab 2nd. Input the quality of your pet (The drop down menu is right next to the dice) 3rd. Drag ...

Re: Help me understand Breed number please
Ok, I'm going to take a stab at the basics of Breed ID's. Breed ID is basically a number representing the stat allocation. All wild pets * have a set of breed ID's that they can have, based on their specific type. The breed ID's are divided into two sets, that are exactly the same, EXCEPT that one s...

Re: Spectral Tiger cup / Spectral cup
I understand the argument about exclusivity. However, with the addition of pet battling, you almost need an option that has a similar moveset that's easier to get to prevent an unfair advantage. I suppose they could just make TCG pets all weak battle pets, but that isn't all that appealing either. I...

Re: Levelling my first team, having a lot of trouble. Help!
My advice to you Dockirre, is to start by focusing on a team of pets that will be easy to level. What family types are almost always seen out there in the wild? Beasts, Critters, Flyings, Aquatics. Excellent advice by Zaelo. As a suggestion for a strong pet against Aquatics and Flying, you can't go...

Re: Stuck at 37/40 Master Tamers
I'm having a similar problem, and have a solution in mind, but have not taken the time to attempt it yet. I beat the trainers on different characters, for example, using my mage to port to tamers that were near big cities, using my engineer to teleport to gadgetzan, toshleys station, etc, and my mai...

Re: Which BreedIDs are on your to-get list?
For cats, Snow Cub (325--Sand Kitten is next best); I'm not exactly sure how non-wild pets differ, but it might be worth looking at the Cornish Rex Cat . While he has a Breed ID of 4, his base stats are (7, 10.5, 8.5)(att = 341@ rare). He takes a hit in health, but has a slightly higher attack and ...

Re: Elemental's Passive, more a disadvantage?
The biggest use I could see would be combining Elemental weather immunity with either "Call Darkness" or "Scorched Earth". For Call Darkness : " A shadow falls across the battlefield, dealing 15 Humanoid damage and turning the weather to Darkness for 9 rounds. During Darkness, all pets are considere...
