The background looks a bit like Firelands to me - maybe it's part of the next wave of raid pets? I dunno ...

Re: The dark side of children's week~
There used to be an achievement called something like "Once an orphan ...", which required you to kill a player with his orphan companion out (if not exactly that, something like that). It got scrapped quickly, due to outbursts of political correctness.

Re: [EU] Choosing the best realm for pet battling and collec
The generally accepted wisdom for money making while levelling is to have 2 gathering professions - I usually take mining and herbing, as they can be spotted on the minimap and giveexp as well. Having said that, for some reason, my warlocks usually end up taking enchanting and its 'gathering profess...

Re: [EU] Choosing the best realm for pet battling and collec
There is a very pet friendly guild, namely the one that is related to this web-site.
The guild is called WarcraftPets and can be highly recommended.
The *only* downside to the realm is that evenings it is often locked and you will have to wait in the queue to get in.

Would like to add something possibly important here, based on annoying experience. In addition to the [pet]terrible turnip[/pet], it's a good idea to have at least one pet that can change the weather. For example, you're trying to capture a [pet]lava beetle[/pet] and it uses the [ability]scorched ea...

Re: Thundering Serpent Hatchling guilds
Does the following guild on Tarren Mill still allow pet collectors in to get the Thundering Serpent Hatchling? I like to check before I ask for an invite :) Horde: World in Flames - Tarren Mill - Knïght I can confirm that they still accept applications for this. I actually came here to publicy than...

maybe a silly quesion, but why not go to the Timesink Isles, open all the boxes you see and get 496 gear that way? Much easier (imvho)Malenrhen wrote:I'm still in TI gear for the most part....barely scratched LFR or the gear from it

I thought the breed number indicated this - can't remember which way round it is though, whether the higher number is male or female.

I suspect the OP was becoming generally dissatisfied with Blizzard and this was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.

Re: Wild Pets with Yellow Exclamation Mark
There could be another explanation ... There is an addon (can't remember exactly which right now), that does this when the pet is an upgrade for you. For example, you have a common version and this is uncommon or rare - or it's a pet you don't currently have, in which case even the uncommons are mar...

Re: Viscous Horror and Tuskarr kite next to be Duped
They dont care about getting caught they are on trial accs and as soon as they get the gold, it is given to a 2nd person on a different account, and they delete that toon. This is the part that always confuses me - surely (!) Blizzard have the means to track the gold. They must see where it goes an...

Re: [BUG] Withers
Usually, the mouseover info box tells you why something can't be caged or released. Is the pet damaged perhaps and needs to be healed to full?
If all else fails, you should be able to mark the pet as unused and it will disappear from the list (might need an addon, not sure)

Re: Rotten helpers are already available it seems
Did the daily 11 times yesterday and got 1 bot, 1 lumpy and 1 rotten helper each. Will probably repeat this exercise for spares, but not every day - just takes too long.
My rotten helper also said B/B - no idea if this is the only breed.

Re: I play my server's Santa.
Some good ideas already. Bags is a good one. If you were to solo older raids for pets, you will get a lot of cloth, which you can use to make 16 and 20 slot bags, or clothing items. Nice thing you do, btw - kudos. ps: the typo is a good one - when I read that you "play the role of sever santa", I ha...

Have you tried redeeming the codes via your battle.net account?
I have it in my mind that this is now the preferred method - just a thought.

If you look down and hold both mouse buttons, you can dive safely even with PoF active. This is also useful if you're ever in a group somewhere wet and expect your allies to try to kill you by casting Waterwalking just before you hit the water. I did not know this - cheers. Wish I'd known of this w...
