Re: Addon Question
/run TogglePetJournal(2) /dismisspet Put this in a macro and bind it to SHIFT-P, will save the hassle of selecting the auto-summoned pet => right clicking => dismissing (from personal experience, this gets old after the 100th time). If a pet gets summoned anyway, SHIFT-P twice more. Aside from a mor...

Flawless Flying Battle-Stone Tips
Outside Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight is perfect for farming Flying Battle-Stones. Here's why: VERY fast respawns on http://www.wowhead.com/npc=62852 i.e. little to no downtime. Stable Master nearby in Wyrmrest Temple for healing http://www.wowhead.com/npc=27948 . Wild pets are level 22-23, giving...

Re: Major Payne for Leveling
He surly is a major pain, and usually the only one I still have to use bandages on sometimes. :( In case you didn't know, there's a Stable Master (http://www.wowhead.com/npc=35290 = Horde, http://www.wowhead.com/npc=35291 = Alliance) right there on the Tournament grounds. Might save you a bandage. ...

Major Payne for Leveling
Seems this trainer may be more trouble than he's worth when it comes to giving experience to a lowbie pet. However, for the first time tonight I was able (lots of attempts) to bring his team down with 2 level 25's and a level 1. Wasn't easy. I'm putting the question on the table: what comps can most...

Fluxfire Power
In battling over the past few days, every competitive team I've played against has had this nasty little robot on its roster. No other pet can do 1200+ non-crit non-supereffective damage in one attack (I've been hit for 1300+ using an elemental, which is damage resistant to mechanical abilities). Th...

Re: The Cost of a Flawless Upgrade
Just paid 2K for an Undead upgrade, with non-specific Flawless Battle-Stones going for 9K on my server (Magtheridon-US). I'm sure I could have gotten it for less.

Re: The Cost of a Flawless Upgrade
I think it will vary depending on server, but I'd expect a fair price is about 50% of the cost of a flawless stone on your AH. 50% reflects the difficulty of the owning party selling the stone compared to listing it on the AH where the whole server looks. Thank you, good thinking. I totally forgot ...

The Cost of a Flawless Upgrade
Since Flawless Battle Stones are tough to come by, I'm wondering if anyone has "purchased" an upgrade from someone. E.g., I want Fishy upgraded, but I don't have an Aquatic stone, so I put Fishy in a cage and give it to someone with an Aquatic stone and pay them gold to use it on my pet. If you've d...

Flawless Battle Stones vs. Green-Only Pets
I'm wondering if anyone has tried this because it might save me a Flawless Battle Stone and they're hard to come by. Can the Stones be used on pets that exist as Uncommon (green) ONLY (e.g. Peddlefeet, Ghostly Skull, etc.) to upgrade them to Rare (blue)?

ATTENTION: Programmers & Code Experts
Something has been bugging me for quite some time, and I haven't a clue how to address it. GOAL - Send lines of text from the "General" tab to a text file or Excel file. The lines of interest look like this: Wild Pet 1: Some Wild Pet Wild Pet 2: Some Other Wild Pet Wild Pet 3: Another Wild Pet I bel...

Copy the above text to your clipboard. If you enter a pet battle that you don't want to finish, hit RETURN then CTRL-V then RETURN. No need to click the "Forfeit" button, and no confirmation box appears. Thanks goes to Ro from BNET forums.

Re: Dear Santa Paws....
Why oh why aren't there any Miniphistos or Baalings from Diablo II? Those bosses had way, way cooler designs than Diablo, and their attack animations would be boss. Can you imagine a pet battle with tentacles shooting up out of the ground, waves of energy exploding towards an enemy, orbs of death ta...

The Difficult Beauty
There was a change made to the WoW game mechanics a long time ago, perhaps before I even started playing back in late vanilla. The change was a statistical modifier for quest items, preventing players from having to farm for excessive stretches of time before finding their quest items. Basically, ev...

Wild Pet Statistics (Poor, Common, Uncommon, Rare)
I started a spreadsheet tallying the quality of pets I battled in the wild. After battling 585 pets, here are the findings. 48.72% of all pets were POOR QUALITY (gray) 23.42% of all pets were COMMON QUALITY (white) 23.59% of all pets were UNCOMMON QUALITY (green) 4.27% of all pets were RARE QUALITY ...
