Darkmoon Faire Bug
It seems that the Darkmoon Faire bugged out and did not despawn last night. I just battled Jeremy Feasel again and got a bag and everything.

Re: Bug-List for 5.2 & Pet Battles
Pets loosing health when you abandon a battle. I was farming for a rare this morning, and on finding one, discovered that my pets were all on around 20% health - I'd just used a bandage on them after a fight, so when I started the process they were on full. Going back and checking it seems that the...

Do you have alliance and horde versions of the guild herald and guild page? My add-on only counts the ones that particular character can use, so technically I have two more than is shown by the add-on.

Re: MGTTDPB 5.2: My guide to tamer daily pet battles for 5.2
So what is a reliable post-5.2 two-pet team for Obalis? Everything else seems to work fine. One shot everything. But Obalis is tearing me apart - I tried the usual Infinite/Anubisath; Emerald Proto/Anubisath; Clockwork/Proto; etc. It took 30 minutes of trying different teams to finally get lucky ag...

Re: Bug-List for 5.2 & Pet Battles
Dragon Kite is, indeed, a colour changer again. I thought they were supposed to nerf Obalis and Payne. They really look like they've been buffed instead. This is just ridiculous. I'm a bit frustrated at these two, as well. I've been sticking to the "use molten hatchling to slowly kill the bac...

Re: New Carps
I think I got extremely lucky on my first two carp. I caught my blue carp from open water in Vale (The lake east? of Shrine of Seven Stars) after only about 80 casts. Then later that night I caught my white carp from a pool (just a normal pool) right beside the Temple of the White Tiger in Kun-Lai a...

Re: Rare Hunting: The Next Generation.
I generally don't forfeit a wild battle unless I forgot to switch out a pet/ability. Each battle that I win yields quite a few Lesser Charms. Poor/common/uncommon, I'll battle them all for a chance at collecting charms! It saves me from having to do other misc dailies. I do agree that everyone will...

There are many ways to beat trainers. I'm still getting used to this new resilience add, which would help vs dm monkey - but - does it help if your tactic is to swap? I can't recall for sure but I think the resilience buff is on the pet, not on the frontline spot. So the buff would go to the back o...

Re: Life Exchange and Legendaries
Sunlight to Life Exchange to Predatory Strike Try it, you'll like it. Totally unnecessary, of course. But so are pet battles! PS You may need to hit them once along the way, as well. I used this combo yesterday (Soul of the Aspects/Nether Faerie Dragon/Darkmoon Hatchling) on all the elite...

There was nothing reasonable about the amount of xp that was being given for pet battles.Stonewallred wrote:Pet battles, "oops, people might rather level this way, in a reasonable time frame, let's hotfix it and make them dig through poo".

Re: Complete Pandaria Tamer/Elite Map
This is great. Thanks. Is there any way to make this show up on my game map? I was using HandyNotes but quit working and does not include the elite pets. The Tom Tom add-on is pretty handy for this. The macros to set waypoints I use are as follows: Normal and Spirit Tamers /way Kun-Lai Summit 65 94...

Re: RIP Fluxfire Feline
For mechs in general I mostly use the Darkmoon Tonk and Darkmoon Zeppelin. For the DMF tamer specifically, I use a team of Mechanical Pandaren Draongling, Fel Flame and Darkmoon Tonk. The MPD kills the eye with Breath and usually gets a couple hits on the trainer's tonk. Fel Flame finishes off the t...

Re: Isle of Thunder is CRZ'ed
Some of the coming dailies (once the stages start completing) will be pvp ones. It will need to be CRZ for those. I do not have a problem with CRZ, makes things more interesting. It will settle down after a few weeks, it is the first day after all. Why would it have to be CRZ for the pvp dailies? T...

The description of Deflection says 'attempts' to go first, doesn't it? Maybe it fails against the "this move always goes first" moves.

Re: I was never given a quest to defeat pet tamers.
Did you go talk to the pet battle trainer in your respective city to learn pet battling? After you learn it they should offer you a quest which starts a chain that eventually leads to defeating all the tamers on your respective continent (Kalimdor for Horde, EK for Ally).

To kill time while waiting for raid to fill, kill time during a break during raid, etc. Why is being able to battle in an instance a bad thing? (If your raiders are being irresponsible and delaying the raid then chastise or sit them.)Gendou wrote:1.) Why do people want to duel inside an instance?

Re: Newer player's dilemma
I have several CE pets (Wrath and later) and some of the unobtainable pets like Baby Blizzard Bear, Spirit of Competition, etc. and I have to say, I'd be thrilled if everyone now could have them the same as me. I don't really feel that my collection is diminished in any way by other people having th...
