Re: ZG run for Lashtail Hatchling

Mandokir is absolutely soloable, and so is the rest of ZG.

Re: A double death adder / unborn down by darkness team

Hrm, interesting. So those moves becomes autohit now if their condition is fulfilled.

Re: Good setup for a returning player?

An alternative to anubby is Qiraji Guardling, S/S breed. I think you can still cap them in silithus.

It packs sandstorm and a stun.

Re: A o E oh My

Thus far, there is nothing in the WoD changes to suggest that anything will change for the better. Haunt and Blinding Poison are untouched -- in fact, there is a new pet with Haunt ( http://wod.wowhead.com/npc=83817 ). AoEs are proliferating and getting stronger, and there's new and better pets wit...

The attack description is listed as strong vs Dragons and weak vs Beasts. Why would they even bother listing that?
Refuge
It was a sarcastic comment, hence the "lol" at the end. ;)

I also like the way Refuge is strong against dragons, lol!

Why would it help with dragons?

Exactly! :D

Re: A o E oh My

Taking a look at the new pets, there seems to be a Shieldstorm clone among the new pets. http://wod.wowhead.com/npc=83583 Forest Sproutling comes with Refuge Refuge 6 Turn Cooldown A natural shield surrounds each friendly critter, blocking the next attack they would take. Lasts 6 rounds. Which is al...

Re: Which Ruby Droplet?

A curious mention about Blood Drain. Due to it dealing %damage, it ignores damage reductions.

And the more max health the enemy have, the more damage it deals. Making Sunlight an absolutely potent addition to a Ruby Droplet.

Re: Which Ruby Droplet?

Imho, the most useful abilities of Ruby Droplet is: Absorb, Bubble and Blood Drain. Only Absorb scales with power, and a very miniscule amount. So not really useful for it. Some people advocate the H/S breed due to sometimes being able to bubble before a big hit comes. But imo the problem with that ...

Re: A o E oh My

Hrm. If i understood the talk about Hit chances in Wod right. Hit debuffs will actually lower the chance of getting a high hit on attacks with variable damage. So Sandstorm thusly nerfs the damage output of Crush even further when active, beside the chance to miss.

Re: A o E oh My

I don't necessarily think that AoE is "overpowered" in any way now, as others have mentioned. It is only really out-of-control with Clonedancer set-ups, and of course the Murk idiocy. I run a few AoE teams as a change of pace, but I don't have any rousing success with any of them as compa...

Re: Want some opinions on which critters to go for/level up.

Thats great Luciandk. I'm always happy when I can get someone to try something new. It works really well vs decoys as well, first chew and then swarm(not stampede as I said in my first post, not that it matters much). The swarm breaks the decoy and leaves the debuff up for the chew to hit for a lot...

Re: Want some opinions on which critters to go for/level up.

Mr. Wiggles kills humanoids. Idols goes down in a few hits. Runts with elemental damage are only dangerous if they use the beast attacks which they often won't. S/S Praire Mouse is my go to critter right now. It has both Flurry and Poison Fang, then option between survival or stamped. It is immense...

Re: A o E oh My

With all of the new AoE power strikes coming, it would be nice to see some more AoE defensive abilities to balance them out. Murkalot had Shieldstorm as an aoe defensive and it left people in such a frothing rage that it got moved back to the same slot as Righteous Inspiration. They previously had ...

Re: Want some opinions on which critters to go for/level up.

An S/S rabbit is quite an useful pet to have for many tamer battles. I usually go with a Tolai Hare Pup as its the smallest of them. Sorta amusing to see a little fluffball topple a much larger pet. Speedy Rabbits are masters of evasion! A H/H Shimmershell Snail or Scooter the Snail will provide the...

Re: weirdest thing I've seen in awhile

Its speculated that it actually turns into 15% chance to hit due to wonky debuff mechanics.

Re: Pet of the Month - Clockwork Gnome

Clockwork Gnome is essential for me to take down the Celestials and Lil Oondasta. Stacking Build Turret, Black Claw and Hunting Party (Shattered Defenses), for some truly ghastly levels of mechanical damage against the beast bosses. The CG is a good example of an ability being so good that it oversh...

Too many hoops for contacting other users?

I had forgotten about it until today where I had to place a message to another siteuser and making note of the seemingly unneeded steps. First you have to click on their name to bring up their forum profile. On the forum profile where it says you can contact the user, it ought to have a message link...
