Re: WoD pet news speculation and datamined

The Pygmy Cow have just become a lot harder to aquire. The lvl 3 barn now takes 125 workorders to unlock, up from 25.

Re: Iron Starlettes on the AH: Am I Crazy?

Right now theres a HUGE supply of them, due to everyone bringing their alts through the chain for the 520 epic trink at the end. The cheapest are about 50g on my ah. Will take a while for the glut to be absorbed im certain. I think P/P might remain the most prized of them, due to the sheer destructi...

Re: LF Assistence: Pet Breeds & What to look for

http://www.warcraftpets.com/wow-pet-battles/breeds/ Check the guide, explains why B/B is considered undesirable. But in many cases it just cant be avoided, yet the ability set makes the pet very good. Such as Blossoming Ancient. But in general you want to look for things like: Non priority dodge mov...

Re: WoD and Pet battle mechanics?

One of the biggest wod highlights for me is Stormwing , the pet reward for collecting 600 unique pets. Good looking and comming with a quite well designed moveset. No other pets can boast such a great use of Call Lightning without needing to waste a turn on swapping. Sure it may not have new abiliti...

Re: WoD and Pet battle mechanics?

Just think of it as refining the current system. The biggest change is arguably no more misses, but damage ranges on many skills. Breeding was nice on paper, but it presented balance issues. Especially with the proposed epic pets for players. Noone really wants to be forced to upgrade their entire s...

Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed thoughts

Ive just aquired both and have had a closer look at them. The P/S Cursed Birman looks fairly underwhelming at first glance. But it has one obvious combo in Prowl + Call Darkness. But that effectively wastes your points in speed, dropping you from 289 speed to 202 speed. The other combo is Spirit Spi...

Re: Looking for a pet battle addon replacement

Pettracker seems to bug out using quest items from the ingame tracker, wow demanding it to be disabled. Or you have to use q items from inventory instead.

Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed in one day

I just finished collecting the 300 tricky treats needed on day 1 for the two new pets. Do all related quests for Hallows End, and pop candy buckets in bulk. I had about abit over half left of Kalimdor as my last continent when I hit the 300x Tricky treat mark. So more than enough in one day. Cursed ...

Re: How are you preparing for WoD?

Decided to get 3x P/P Iron Stars to utterly brutalize the WoD tamers. Just about done with leveling the third one.

Re: 6.0.2 and wild pets...something wrong?

Appears the broken randomizer picks the first breed available to every wild pet. Infinite Whelpling, Emerald Proto Whelp and Nexus Whelpling all have PP as their first breed, and all of them will be PP. But flayer younglings have BB as their first breed, and all of them are BB. Edit: From what I can...

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions

Hawk Eye looks quite strong, as a crit will always roll high. A P/P Quiraji Guardling should be able to push a beastly Crush with that. Crush, Crush, Crush, Crush = 4*(0.45*16 + 0.55*1.5*28) = 121.2 dmg over 4 turns Hawk Eye, Crush, Crush, Crush = 3*(0.2*28 + 0.8*1.5*28) = 117.6 dmg over 4 turns Hr...

Re: Looking for a pet battle addon replacement

Pet tracker looks quite useful. But any way to disable its breed notifications? Like the custom ones it pops, ninja, destruction, etc.

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions

I think the weak slot 1 is really what which holds the S/S sky-bo back from effective use. But a P/P can deliver a decent rash of delayed damage, though otherwise nothing special. Bronze whelpling was the suprise pet of 6.02 for me, a true control style pet. Yes, it shines in pvp, but I also found i...

Looking for a pet battle addon replacement

For http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/pokemon-trainer It was my favorite and absolutely core pet battle addon. Easy to see frames listing cooldowns for yours and enemy pet abilities, as well weak and strong states. Its in particular the enemy pet ability cooldowns im badly missing to have easilly avai...

You really could use an addons forum

Lots of them out there by now. Would be neat with a place to have a discussion on them, new and upcomming ones, as well broken ones.

Re: Does anyone have the Bronze Whelpling pet yet?

Battle pet breed id doesnt have all the breed info yet. Best is really to verify the stats by using the pet pages here on site.

Re: About Bronze Whelpling

The S/S option and moveset is clearly the more unique and useful imho. The P/P option can easilly be duplicated by an infinite whelpling.

Re: Valks have been nerfed into obscurity

Glad to see Haunt being smacked down for good, that ability was just too good and caused the whole pet meta to be utterly stymied. Now there should be a lot more variety again.
