Re: The Squirky Mystery

Something to keep in mind is that GMs aren't all-knowing. They are tech support. When it comes to code, they may not have any more knowledge than we game-players have. As proven in the past by me having to go through *four* GMs after Cataclysm to explain to them that my dwarf still somehow had 'Trea...

Re: The Squirky Mystery

He stated that there won't be any mounts, battle pets, power rewards or achievements for participating in them. I wasn't aware of that. As such, knowing that, I'm *definitely* much more sure they're unrelated. Although it's still interesting. :D My best guess at the moment is that Squirky is either...

Re: The Squirky Mystery

Could the new holiday event coming in 7.1.5 March of the Tadpoles (New) - Today, the baby Winterfin murlocs of Borean Tundra complete their trip across the Westrift. be were he's from? And that's why his description of November was changed? Just a thought. It's *possible*. However, the 'Westrift' i...

Re: squirky battle pet

A quick internet search returned a promotional picture where a murloc that looks like Squirky can be seen with Malfurion in Teldrassil. Actually, I suspect this isn't Malfurion. Or rather, if it *is* Malfurion, he's going by a different name in the book: the character is named Thalyss Greyoak. He i...

Re: The Squirky Mystery

I don't have the book myself, so I did some online research. I found: But the journey is hindered by Greydon’s compass, which never points north. If the compass isn't leading Aram and Makasa home--to safety--to what destiny is it leading them? Curious, I checked out Wowhead for 'compass' that had be...

Re: New Acquisitions

Was going to suggest the same thing ... this zone is nasty if you are trying to farm pets and not high enough to handle the mobs. What's worse is that the Suramar-only mobs, AKA the spiders, are *all* in very dangerous areas. Even at level 110, it's not fun to run around. I was fortunate that my fi...

Merana wrote:And all the Eldritch Manafiends and Northern Hawk Owls I found were rare

I only have one of each, but both were rare right off the bat for me, too.

Possible this is related to the 'uncommon only' bug we had on several creatures in Pandaria and Cataclysm.

Re: New Acquisitions

And just last night, I simultaneously dinged level 107, and Broken Isles Safari , and obtained my Rescued Fawn . The Suramar pets are a pain in the *BUTT* to get when you're not level 110; I don't suggest trying it unless you've got a high-level friend, are chasing questers around, or are willing to...

Re: New Acquisitions

I've now got one of every wild pet other than Fedgling Kingfeather , Hog-Nosed Bat , Vicious Broodling , and Thornclaw Broodling . At level 106 (and most of it from battling pets and exploring) that's not a bad haul. Got quite a few of them as rare as well. I was lucky as hell: my very first Stormst...

Re: The Elusive Dust Bunny

When they spawn (from the rug), do they only become available for you? Or can other people see/battle them?

I know when you put down a Turtle Box, the four turtles it spawns are available for everybody.

The Elusive Dust Bunny

It's pretty apparent that Dust Bunnies have multiple spawn points, and/or have a longer respawn than the original 10-15 minutes. At the moment, Wowhead only mentions their spawn in the barbershop. Having camped said barbershop for well over an hour, I can safely assume the spawn is considerably long...

Re: Legion Collection Strategy?

Actually, I'll split off my question. :P My own plans are what they usually are: pet battling obsessively until I get tired of it, and then moving into actual leveling and questing. That might take a while; I'm a natural explorer and I usually end up exploring most of the zones before I actually sta...

Re: New Acquisitions

So far, I have all the charm pets and one of the Underbelly Eye pets (the Sewer Jelly ). I also pet battled for charms and managed to get myself a rare Blind Rat . I've captured a Long-Eared Owl but it's only common at the moment; I spent most of yesterday night hunting for a Dust Bunny and having n...

Re: Legion Collection Strategy?

Breanni's shop and the area above the Inn in Dalaran (Broken Isles) - two other spawn locations that I've found. There could be more, but I never figured out the respawn timer. >_< Thanks. I spent over an hour last night camping the barbershop and it never showed up. I'd been desperate for this to ...

The only referral to its location I've been able to find is the barbershop. Where else does this fellow spawn?

Re: Squirt in Garrison Days (NA region)

Don't be too envious of it; thanks to the sheer number of people trying to do Squirt right now, garrisons are completely freezing up. It's pretty much impossible to fight Squirt at all right now. In fact, if you're in your Garrison, it's impossible to even log in.

Re: Pet Battle leveling. Need some advice from the communit

I'm glad to see that I am not the only player who is leveling/has leveled a toon primarily by pet battles. I may... *may*... have leveled 6 of my toons from level 85 to 90 on pet battles alone. .... and 8 from 90 to 100. It plays hell on your gear, but it's a great way to collect stones and level A...

Re: To fight on those Cookie Cutter PVP pet battle days

One that I had admittedly varying amounts of luck with, but some good 'win' days: Anubisath Idol Infested Bear Cub Elwyn Lamb Been trying to explore some other combinations, but of the bunch, that was the one I had the most luck and fun with, albeit it is problematic as the damage output of the lamb...

Re: Pet Battle leveling. Need some advice from the communit

- There are the crabs at The Moonlit Shore in Shadowmoon - http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/17610571439 Not an option if you are doing a low level Horde. The local Draenei along the shore are all aggressive. You'll need to wait until you're level 90 or so, and even then you will probably pul...

Well, it's the pet weekend. Check your WoW calendar. All pet XP is doubled even before bonuses from hat and food.
