I found four this morning at around 8:30 AM server time. Two seemed to be close to the area of an adult giraffe and were both in the pockets at the bottom of hills north of Ruins of Taurajo. Two were walking with adult giraffes in the area south of Desolation Hold to the west of Bael Modan.

The fact that it's from a daily makes me sad because I'm going to miss about 7 days of the holiday for traveling, etc.

The first pet that I ever bought was on one of my first characters who has since been deleted and mostly forgotten. It was one of the snakes, I think the Crimson one, from the snake vendor that pats in Org. I only had 1g and spent about half of my hard earned quest money on it.

It changes a lot, but right now it's definitely the Feline Familiar. I love the hat and the fact that it gets on a broom to fly alongside you.

Most TCG pets (though I have two - one was a gift, the other was a whim) and more recently I've stopped buying the Blizz store pets. I actually also have yet to pick up one of the Guardian Cubs from the AH, not sure if I ever will.

Fox Kit (mostly because I hate farming...), Crawling Claw. It had been the Scorchling until they added that in the Hyjal area.
