I bet you had fun coming up with that ! When I heard about the 2 different kinds of stones, I assumed (wrongly, of course) that only uncommon pets could be upgraded to rares. This made sense to me, as it would make both stones useful.
Thanks for the various input. Certainly seems odd. Anyway, the problem will not arise for me again, as Nishi was kind enough to put an undead stone in the bag.
I have had an 80% hit attack miss 3 times out of 4. Soooo frustrating. I also get the feeling that these strings of unusually bad luck stick in the mind more than the usual RNG. So when the same thing happens 2 weeks later, we all go "this is just a huge pile of steaming smelly stuff - ermerger...
I managed to snag a common HH, but would prefer BB, preferable rare :-) Anyway, I found a poor HH and asked in guild if anyone else could use this. When the guildie turned up, I forfeited and we waited for the pet to respawn and it didn't. I hadn't made a single attack, just waited and forfeited. Do...
Here's my $0.02 on this ... My team for Jeremy Feasel is :- 1) Personal World Destroyer , (1/1/2) 2) a carry pet to level 3) Lil' Ragnaros (1/1/2) PWD starts and does Quake , followed by Repair . The idea is to do as many rounds of this as possible, before PWD dies. There are 2 rounds to twiddle thu...
Another important thing to remember is to dismiss pets on a hunter or warlock. Will save your mouse and your tendons trying to click the unresponsive orb :-) (they can be re-summoned for phase 2 though) I do it a little differently, in that I firstly destroy the eggs around the orb platform, then ma...
I'm getting about 1 pet per run of all 3 raids - mixed luck I guess. Was happy to get a P/P version Netherspace Abyssal - will be interesting to see how that performs.
On the other hand I am getting REALLY annoyed by the "You won!" window that pops up for each item now. You and me both !! Especially when it's for useless junk. The other really annoying thing, is that it's not possible to open the bag and peek inside. With so much junk, I used to open th...
I feel your pain. Sometimes it's just easier to accept that the game hates us ... I did all of the raids for the new pets and got 1 (the Pocket Reaver). Looks like a long grind coming up - at least I have plenty of alts I can (mis)use for this.
Pet Journal Enhanced (I think it's called) is the one that lets you sort and select pets. A great addon.
There is one that shows how many you have when you mouse over, but I can't remember whih it is. I have 4 or 5 that I use and it might have the word 'Collected' in the title.
I have a team that I use for capturing wild pets and it's core is a Terrible Turnip, plus one that can change the weather to something less aggressive, like a frog and its Cleansing Rain. Some of those weather conditions can be really frustrating.
When I saw a rare lvl 25 pet for 7g 99s 99c, I snapped it up, but just *knew* that the seller had made a mistake. Being the nice person I am (or idiot, depending on your point of view), I contacted the seller and asked if the price was correct. Apparently, he meant to put it in for 8k and didn't not...
At the risk of revealing my naughty secrets ( ), realm plays a huge part here. I've been making decent gold between 2 servers by buying cheap pets on one and selling them on another. It's really odd, but server A has the new pets from 5.2 at a really cheap price (about 20% of the price on serv...
I tried this in cases where it seemed to work and when the libram was on 1 hp, my damage was just a series of zeros. I'm wondering if there's some sort of "sweet spot" (or should that be "sour spot"? ) where something odd happens - thinking of boundary conditions or similar.
Lofty Libram is a magic pet, hence "cannot be taken below 50% of max hp in one attack.". Rounding error? As in, ignoring the 1hp effect of WB, you would have dealt more than 50% of the libram's life. So the game rounded the damage to something that still killed it, and this somehow superc...
