Yep, not noticing and flying away is indeed the suckiest. I've got into the habit of double checking before I mount up after each battle now.

The other thing I get is the quest showing the quest log, but when I beat a beast of fable it doesn't give me credit for completing it.) This happens to me quite often. Usually seems to be Nitun that fails to give me credit when I beat him. One time I had to kill him 4-5 times to get it to register...

It's been a while, but as far as I remember, the quest seemed to be up around once a week or so. Sometimes you will see it two days in a row, other times you'll check every day and not see it for weeks.

I seem to remember reading that you can only get a stone in a wild pet battle if the pet you're battling is within 5 levels of the highest pet on your team. Not sure exactly where I read that, but I think it was somewhere official, maybe even patch notes.

Not really that lucky, no. The bags from this quest have very good drop rates for the pandas. Most people I know got all four pandas in 5-6 bags or so.

Well, considering it would involve me moving guilds, or possibly even realms, I don't think it's going to happen.

Going to have to start thinking about some cheesy team set-ups, I guess. I prefer to just grab a random team, or what I think is a good balance of family and attack types, but I tend to get stomped by some lame set-up that can't be beaten by a normal team.
