The drop rates certainly do seem to be lower this time around... last batch i had almost all of them within a couple of weeks, this time I have two to show for running kara twice and the others once

random spawns... this is going to be hell to get. best bet would be to camp out a few known spawn spots and hope for the best.

I've started working on my hydra baby, but the markers for the overturned caravans are slightly bugged (only show up once in a while) so ill finish tomorrow. Plan on doing pet raids with a friend and my sister tomorrow night, and of course hunting for a val'kyr!

They don't show it in the journal, but when you summon them they each have specific families if you move your mouse over the pet.

While this pet does not require it to be raining in wetlands for it to spawn, I found i had much better luck nabbing a rare while it was raining as there were many more spawns up for some reason.

I typically get 1-2 stones a day out of tamer bags when i do all of the ones that give stones, and I level pets to 22 off of wild pets but its very hit and miss for me... usually once every 2-3 hours ill get a stone, or sometimes not at all.

I'm Pretty sure it's still allowed, though i haven't tried to do it since 5.1 launched and i used a stone on my already-25 baby blizzard bear (which started as uncommon for some strange reason)

I wouldn't hold my breath for the cap being raised above 650 till the next expansion atleast; even in 5.3, the most pets people are going to have if they only collect unique ones will be around 460ish maximum. 5.4 likely won't add too many pets since it will be a raiding patch (siege of orgrimmar!)...

Is there an easier way to get archaeology to the level where it can be used in Pandaria? (thinking cooking changes). The one toon I have Cataclysm level maxed arch on is still sitting at 85. I've had no luck getting the claw, or mount, on him for quite a bit of effort and the new method in Pandaria...

You could probably try the Effervescent Glowflies in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms as well; they travel in packs of three normally, and are 24-25 lvl; accompanied by aquatic or flying pets as there are only those two families in the vale for wild pets

One of my dad's co-workers got him into the game, and after a while us kids started playing; i was the last one to start, and now look at me; completely addicted to pet battles and mount collecting lol
