Re: If Blizzard Added A Method For Promo Pets...

I will echo the regional promo pets being made available outside the original regions. There's no reason why Asia and European players shouldn't get the Warbot, and I don't see a reason why we shouldn't have any of the murlocs (other than Murky), the pigs, jade and onyx panthers, Green and Red drago...

Re: 100% Hit Chance Abilities

The peeps above are right (apparently), the tooltip for nocturnal strike should show the current accuracy. It's 50% normal, 100% if the opponent is blinded, and 90% if you're also blinded. :x If your pet is lower level than your opponent, then there's a 2% miss chance per level difference. *edit* sh...

Re: What would you do for a mini you pet?

Considering I have raided, pvp'd, pet pvp'd, quested, pet battled, crafted, camped, farmed, arena'd, paid, signed up, holidayed and whatever else they've thrown at us. I'd do whatever was required, but depending on what it was, I'd complain a LOT while doing it.

Re: Deadly Pet Brawler

I guess it depends on your team. I didn't have synergies or set ups going. My team was crow, phoenix hatchling and crawling claw. I'd usually open with the crow, unless it was an all humanoid team or I expected the mechanical out first. If I saw a pet swap team, I started with my phoenix rather than...

Re: Deadly Pet Brawler

The obvious counter to a force pet swap is to put a different pet out first, so when they swap you, you end up with the pet you wanted out anyway. If you happen to be faster than they are, then you can get in an attack before they swap you to the pet you wanted out anyway.

Re: Qiraji Guardling

Yes, as Skulwolf says; on the beta were fairly fast-spawning, all around the Scarab Wall in Silithus (both sides), with a few (like the Scarab Hatchlings) in the instance area (not in the instances themselves, just the territory). Shouldn't be hard at all to catch once they appear... That's good to...

Re: 5.4 PTR: Build 17056

Here's hoping Pierre and the Rascal-Bot get a review and change before 5.4 release. Both require x15 "Jard's Peculiar Energy" each, and at the moment this mat is on a one day crafting cooldown, BoP. The recipe for Jard's Peculiar Energy might change, but if not, it'll take about a month t...

Re: Catching a glimpse of your opponent

It shows you what they've named their pets, is it possible to track someone down based on that? If so, it's pointless to hide everything else. I've seen the same set of enemy pets, but their "owner" was a goblin, and orc and a panda. Really? the least you can do is give me the same anonymo...

Re: 5.4 notes, (woohoo, exchange battle stones!)

So, they're basically gutting the zepplin (and I assume the mechanical dragonling). The current setup gives us a choice of comparable damage for either mechanical or elemental, a damage buff or damage block, and a delayed damage or desperation damage. The new set up makes it so we can't actually use...

Saasan wrote:Anyone have confirmation one way or the other?

I cannot confirm, since the one I got was on a toon that had not fished up all 4.

Re: Archeology pets

1. Can you find an arch pet twice? No, you can't find a pet twice. All archeology rares are one solve only. However, that limit is per character, so you can do archeology and get as many of any particular project as you have characters. 2. Now that pets can be caged and purchased, does buying a pet...

Re: Crocks in the city

FWIW, I did the quest on 4 toons today, and got a croc with 1. Too small a sample to get an idea of drop rate, but you definitely can still get them. So I was wrong in my initial post. :o

I'd do it on more toons, but, well, I got bored after doing it for 4.

Re: Brutal Pet Brawler debriefing

I'm at 250 wins. I don't plan to go for the Trainer title unless there's a pet attached to it as well. After getting no wins for a bit, I decided I needed to counter all the humanoids, elementals and other common things I was seeing. I tried a couple set ups I found online, but wasn't happy with the...

Re: Fleeing in pvp pet battles

I just noticed the lack of win from a flee yesterday. then I started reading about it. I apologize to anyone who I messed up by fleeing. I fled if it was clear I wouldn't win, because I jsut wanted to get through the fights as fast as possible. Over the weekend I fled if I saw a rabbit becaus...

Re: Crocks in the city

Not true ... We had the quest three times in the last two weeks (after it not being there for three weeks) ... the first time, with two characters on two accounts, we got 3 out of the 4 pets (Damn you, Chuck!). The second time, we got Chuck ... and two more Muckbreaths, meaning at least one of the ...

Re: Do you feel certain moves miss more?

http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/8892470086?page=1 for the discussion of the accuracy add on. And that's the only one throwing lua errors for me right now, but I tend to not run that many add ons anyway. Also, FWIW, I just checked and there's a new version of TomTom up, but I don't use that a...

Re: Crocks in the city

I believe they do stop coming once you have them. Way way back when they bumped up the chance, I stopped getting duplicates. I was also fishing for them on multiple toons, so I had a decent size sample set as far as checking the chance of getting one. Since pets are now acct wide, I'd imagine you ca...

Re: Daily Pet Supply Bags

Slab wrote:The only stat I know is months and months and months of bags and zero Porcupettes.

It's been months since I've gotten a porcupette.

I've gotten 3 fire elmentals, 1 earth and 2 water since the patch though.

And, of course, a lot of stones. I average probably 1 a day from bags.

Re: Do you feel certain moves miss more?

The hit chance tracker written by Simca (forget the actual name) is a bit shaky. It'll throw lua errors occasionally, and doesn't track several multi-round attacks and has some other weirdness. However, if it's to be believed, since I've been running it for several days, and have many tamer daily fi...

Re: What Pets Have You Been Lazy in Getting?

Murky I just haven't won the lottery or gotten multiple jobs so I could afford to plunk down the silly $$ required to buy it from ebay. But honestly, I have nothing to contribute to this thread since I go to the required lengths to get the pets, but whine a lot while doing some of it.
