Re: Check Please is selling invites for CMod Pet AND Glory M

So hypothetically, if I was a member of Check Please during your earlier open-membership period, and reached Exalted for the pet, if I rejoined, where would my guild rep be? (And do I get a discount for being a returning customer? Heheh)

Not that I -need- that mount, but it's tempting...

Topaz wrote:You can start hoarding charms for when the new pets arrive

Yes, yes... 87 down, only 1000 or so to go if I want the toys and pets. : )

The pet market really is dismally slow on the realms on which I have a presence. I can't even sell the ones I already have for sale at a decent price. It's sad.

Re: What now?

Oh, I do a little of everything. :) I go from obsession to obsession in WoW... so it'll probably be back to archaeology (shudder) while I binge on Netflix. And then I can catch up on all the Draenor achievements I've been too lazy to do. And if all else fails, there's mount hunting. (again, shudder)...

What now?

So I've collected all the pets I can collect. Seriously, all that are left are RAF, CE, and Blizzcon ones--the ones that would cost (potentially) big real life money. And the Darkmoon Rabbit. Eventually I'll find it for a decent price, maybe. I've leveled all the pets I can level. Sure, I could star...

Re: Donna's "no-bs" WoD 6.1 Pet Tamer Guide

Yeah Jerebear, what do you use? If I could get a carry pet through that didn't have to take that huge 1st hit, that would be better since I could carry lower level pets. I'm honestly not super happy with my Tarr team but I haven't found one that is any shorter. The Tarr team I've found to work real...

Re: Easy and quick squirt strat

Given how all the other nerfs have gone, I'm gonna abuse this fight like my name was Miss Hannigan and Squirt was a red-headed orphan. :) Er, what I meant to say is thanks for the quick and easy strategy, and I look forward to fighting Squirt many times, trainer to trainer, to see who has the superi...

Re: Erris XP

I visited a garrison much earlier today to fight Erris and got full XP, so either this change isn't consistent across the board, or it somehow snuck in this afternoon. Whatever it is, I'm just facepalming with aggravation.

Re: So how are you all powerleveling now?

My current strategy works like this: 1) Fight the menagerie, get 8-10 tokens. 2) Fight Erris, get 3 leveling stones. Standard 2-pet strategy, with a lower level getting a boost. 3) Fly to Talador, fight Taralune for tokens. 2-pet strategy to let a lower-level... you get the hint. 4) Feather to Vesha...

Re: TYTYTYTY ~That Darn Bunny....

The Darkmoon Rabbit is perhaps my Holy Grail, the great Unobtainable Obtainable... I know I'll never get certain CE or Blizzcon pets, and the RAF pets are but a dim hope for when I have extra cash, but that damned Darkmoon Rabbit is the Big One.

Congrats for getting yours!

Re: The future and direction of pet battling in WOW

Have you looked at the Critters of Draenor pet tamer? Her pet ability setup will vary each time you fight her daily team. So you cant counter it perfectly. But you can beat her with a minimum of effort as long as you have a respectable number of max level pets... one or two from each family, tops. ...

Re: Question about what pet you use the ultimate battle ston

I second the suggestion to pick up a Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and/or a Darkmoon Zeppelin. The first is easy if you know an engineer, the second can be earned with Darkmoon tokens or found in the Auction House. They come in handy and really do wonders against beasts.

Re: Question about what pet you use the ultimate battle ston

Of those two, I'd say the Nether Faerie Dragon is a stronger all-around choice. Though depending on what levels your pets already are, it might be more prudent to use the stone on a level 1 pet. And I know there are many opinions over what's most useful, utility-wise.

Re: RWL III - Yield / Drop Rates

I ran all three raids on my one level 100, and only got one pet to drop--the Mini Leviathan from BT.

Le sigh.

Re: Garrison Pet XP nerfed?

I'm going to miss Bird Day and its lesser friends. Why? Because it was a nice way to break up the monotony and speed up the pet leveling grind. I'm one of the serious collectors, and my goal is, of course, to level up as many pets as possible. Right now, I have 671 unique pets, of which 407 have rea...

Re: Using a stone on a non-battle pet...

I'm all for them being counted as rare in the site default. Because it would drive me crazy forever if (when!) I stone them and they don't show up as such.

Re: What's in your bags?

I actually don't have any extra pets in my bags. My guildies and I try to help each other out with pets we can (about half of my cageable pets were gifts from them). Any time I get a cageable duplicate I post in guild chat or put it in the vault. And how do you have enough bank space for all those?...

Re: What's in your bags?

For my own peace of mind in some cases, logistics in others, I caged everything of which I had a spare. Some I may relearn and level, some I may sell, some I may give away. But right now, I have: Tiny Snowman x 4 Worg Pup x 2 Ghostly Skull x 3 Fishy x 2 White Tickbird Hatchling x 2 Green Wing Macaw ...

When I'm running a team that has a Flayer Hatchling, nothing makes me happier than seeing a team with one or more dragons.

Re: Sunflowers and Crawdad

Whenever I see these types of teams, I always assume one of two things: either this person is going for the achieve for consecutive PvP wins, OR this person isn't very good at pet battles and is looking for easy wins via forfeit. I assume the latter because the only reason teams like this generally...
