Took me more than a week to get the first, and so far I have only gotten 4 from bags.

I had the same experience last night, while hunting rares in Kun Lai.
15 (forefitted?) battles in a row had the same poor fox and rare chicken as second and third pet.

But a few hours before that I was getting the usual random teams in Dread Wastes.

I wont because thats the nature of the beast. You have a poor minfernal but want a higher level, Do you not? Camping is what is needed, everyone wants the best so those who work for it and are successful deserve it. Its also luck. I doubt people will stop hunting for rares/better pets just because ...

Tried so many times, still no luck.

I got it in the mail when I logged in after the patch, and I assume it's because I signed up for the promotion when it was going.

And even though I'm in the EU, I have been getting it in the mail on every character I have copied to PTR/BETA since then.

And it was added some time after the beta was opened for AP holders. I did the quest during the first week, and didn't recieve this reward.

Yeah, seems like there's a quest reward pet that was added after I finished the Pearlfin Village quests.

Looks like he may be a tease, since The Anglers are totally different faction

Yeah, pretty sure he's just not activated.
I have finished the (as it is right now) entire quest chain, and have been back later to check for possible dailies.

Will check again when they patch.

And still nothing at Exalted

Just hit Revered with the Jinyu faction (2500 reputation per quest so it's quick) and still can't interact with him. Hopefully he's not a tease and just NYI
