Congratulations! Will be rolling a human pally over there soon to take you up on this very generous offer. See you online!

Re: Has anyone had luck farming Ore Eater?

After reading this thread on the train, I hopped on the remote auction house and bought a sproutling for 2400g. No ore eaters on either of my servers, though.

Re: Trunks Appreciation Society

Beastlyserenity wrote:Do you guys think it will be useful in battle? Or mostly a cool collectors pet?

I don't think he's very optimal for PvP, but I was thinking of using him for this week's 10 just for the wow factor. I'll finish leveling him on the Feasels today.

Re: Draenic Pet Battler achievement nerfed

WOW. Fantastic news, though I feel bad for all of those who have already ground out the 500. I'm over halfway there now, so I'll grind this out quickly!

Re: (US-H Madoran) Pilgrim's Bounty Tournament *New Time*

Thank you everyone for starting one of these late enough to accommodate us west-coasters! It was super-fun. I hope I can make another one sometime! Baldulf, aka Brotherdale Team I used: Soul of the Forge ( Deep Burn / Stoneskin / Flamethrower ) S/S Death Adder Hatchling ( Poison Fang / Puncture / Bl...

Re: An Awfully Big Adventure

I really hate Sully. The current tactic it's so unreliable it hurts. :/ Bad RNG with either Sully or Rikki effectively ruins the try for sure. EDIT: Actually, Socks can kill your frog even without crits. Just enough Claws instead of Infected Claws and the toad is toast before Socks is. Yeah, SO muc...

Re: Lets discuss the Draenor pets

Update for the Soul of the Forge: I had aquired an elekk plushie and just finished 2petting the current celestial tournament tamer team before turnover tomorrow for EU. The Soul of the Forge was absolutely instrumental in 2petting Shademaster Kiryn I found, after failing with several other elementa...

Re: 599 pets, what will be my 600th?

It's less than a day to the Corgi at this point, but also, does it matter? ;-p

Re: Pick your garrison pets?

I agree, I'd like another mechanism. I favorite all of my rares (don't ask), so it might as well be completely random.

Re: An Awfully Big Adventure

Hey, Chibi, I have a question regarding the Cymre two-pet strat with the mech scorpid. You say it can work as a leveling strat, too. Where do you anticipate swapping in the carry pet, between the Kick/Deflect of the Lantern and the Scorpid coming in? If you swap the pet in after the Scorpid dies, yo...

Re: No Time for Healing and the Very Frightened Opponent

I ran into this guy Monday doing my ten. He was running Val'kyr, DAH, and something else. I would guess it was a bot for someone who wanted to get a fast Draenic Pet Battler achieve. He'd retreat before I could even select my pet. Got maybe 5-6 wins off him.

Re: Menagerie Roadmap?

Also, we confirmed yesterday that PvP battles fought in Draenor count toward the 500.

Re: how many "types" of teams can you think of?

Great thread!

Also, Echinacea, I wanted to add to Skavenger's point by saying that you'll generally get softer PvP battles during the day than in the evenings. I generally do all ten of mine midday on Tuesday, and they are MUCH easier then than if I wait until "prime time."

Draenic Pet Battler achieve: PvP battles DO count

One of my big questions that I could not answer during beta (because PvP battles were disabled) was whether or not PvP battles fought in Draenor would count toward the Draenic Pet Battler achievement needed to unlock level 3 pet menagerie plans. I've just confirmed that they DO count. NB: You cannot...

Re: (US-H Madoran) WoD Pre-party Tournament

We generally try to start no more than 10-15 minutes late. If you're too late you can always come out to spectate and see how things are done. We have tournaments every 3 weeks or so as well, so there's always other ones to try :) Got it, thanks. I'm in California, so 5pm on a Saturday is generally...

Re: (US-H Madoran) WoD Pre-party Tournament

Great. Thanks for the clarification. My wife, daughter, and mother-in-law are going on a trip that weekend, so I might actually get to participate. Unfortunately they're on a trip because I'm at an all-day event that is scheduled to end at 8pm server time. I'm hoping I'll get out early enough, thoug...

Re: (US-H Madoran) WoD Pre-party Tournament

By "Pets found in Outland," do you mean strictly wild pets, or also dropped/bought/quest reward pets from Outland?

EDIT: And do only Magic -> Demon pets as classified here on WCP count as Demons, or do others (like Humanoid -> Imps or other demonic sorts of Humanoids) count?
