Why would you limit it to just Icecrown? Because it's a Val'kyr. I suspect (tho just a guess) that you'll only find it in areas with a significant Scourge presence. Yes, that includes parts of, say, Borean Tundra and even Storm Peaks, but it also eliminates a sizable amount of tundra real estate. B...
Mumper confirmed recently (within the last few hours) that the Unborn Val'kyr doesn't spawn based on Northrend rare spawn points. https://twitter.com/mumper This is one of the most significant clues from him we've had about how/where it spawns...even if it still gives us little to go off of.
There is a screenshot of Clock'em on Wowhead. It has a similar model to the Clockwork Gnome...BUT!! It has two boxing gloves (ala Theldurin's Fist). Whereas the Clockwork Gnome has a greenish-yellow body, upright eyebrows, and yellow lights, Clock'em has a brown/copper body, green lights, and less v...
The Silkworm Cocoon is new in 5.1, and I think you can craft it in the next patch using the existing Imperial Silk recipe (taught by trainers), but I'm not entirely sure. I'm also starting to lean towards the cocoon way after doing some research and will update that to the next version of my list. ...
Cassandra Kaboom, Master Pet Tamer. She's a goblin who stands in one of the "greens" of the golf course on Gallywix's Pleasure Palace. She has tons of robotic critters running in a circle around her. Gossip Text: "Who ever said machines aren't natural? My pets are at least 50% natural...
There was a goblin tamer in Dustwallow right near Mudsprocket (literally outside the walls). I didn't catch a name, and my beta isn't working at the moment, but I did notice she had 3 pets with her.
The Pet Journal has been updated with this beta patch. Pets have "stats" now, and many fo the buttons seem to look better...For instance, instead of "SUMMON_PET" it just says "summon" now. However, many of the buttons do not work still, like Find Battle, Summon Random P...
I'm hoping for a few different mobs that will translate well into battles. For instance, more ghosts or skeletons. More demons of different sizes and types. I'd like to see things like banshees. And, of course, many more humanoids. I can totally see a Hozen/Jinyu children's week next year.
So far, all the new pets are making me squee. I recently wrote up a list on paper, to think of all the critters or mobs that would translate well as a pet. Literally, almost ALL of the wild pets match my list. I'm so excited! Though, I do hope that we'll be able to obtain pets as we always have, and...
They have a humanoid category for pet battles, but, I feel like that will be things like the Fetish Shaman and the baby murlocs. Perhaps even Lil KT and such. Otherwise, I'd guess things like Squires, Heralds, and the like would not be included.
I noticed many of the pets are things we already have. Things like toads and rats. I'm hoping there will be a lot more unique pets. I'd like to see more demons and such. It would certainly be doable in places like Felwood, when those Wild Pets are implemented.
