I tested it out, and im afraid it actually did work, I killed the pet with 1850 HP. However, if it ever did not for some reason(miss, weakness etc) one could use Bloodfang which will do the extra 90 dmg from Black claw, (450 + 90) then the doing double dmg from the Hunting Party debuff on the oppone...

I enjoy Breed 5, (or whichever breed P/P is, i always forget! :p) but i believe any of them would work

I suppose it could also work with anklerender, but I use kneebiter for its Bloodfang

Capturing pets trick:

Say your trying to capture a low level pet, yet all your pets will 1 shot that pet. If you add a Terrible Turnip to your team, he has a move that NEVER lowers the opponent's health down to lower than 1hp. Perfect for capturing low lvl pets!
