i got my white carp last night, less than 50 casts that day though probably 500-600 total for that one, i got the blue one in 400 casts. 2/4 down. neither were caught in pools, both in open waters. keep at it. RNG hates us collectors.

they are unique to character pets. So you could fish or do arch on another toon and get a second one. another option is to just buy another off the AH, if spending gold isn't a problem i would go this route.

buy Tol'vir fragments and hope to get lucky with the Claw or the mount. Fossils and the other pets can be farmed quickly but unless you get lucky with Tol'vir then it could be a slog to get that pet. or you could pony out for it. Claws go for 25-50k on proudmoore.
