While there are several pets you can use in your third slot, it wouldnt hurt to have a weather changer.

Sucking at pet pvp is harder to do than sucking at Player PVP SUCKING really means, I dont know what pets to use. Otherwise its a turn based game, with only 3 of a possible 6 abilities to pick from. Even if you read nothing(not that im suggesting it) you can learn alot by just taking 3 pets into PVP and see what your opponents have. The ones that kick your butt probably have some good choices, and since you have most of the pets, you should be able to learn and develop similar successful teams....

Why dont you list the pets you are using?

I went through the same frustrations until I got certain pets that work well together and/or are known to be good pvp battlers

Since most experienced Pet Battlers can PowerLevel a pet to 25 in about an hour, it makes no difference.

If I could pick an ideal pet level to sell on the AH I would choose Level 9, because it would qualify for achieves, and maybe help someone starting out and looking for a boost.

Nothing screams "DOH" more than missing on an attack that says it always hits if the aura you have up is up.

To me, Levelling a pet means an investment of about 90 min tops, using a few lowbies in the capital city, then about 6-7 tamers
