I have to agree with Jadax. It's double work leveling that same pet from 23 to 25 again when you can simply catch a wild pet at 25 and there are lots out there. The pet's level is reduced to 23 so in stead of leveling 1 pet to level 25 twice you can have 2 pets at level 25. It actually gets you the ...

Honestly I am not sure how it works - I just know it's not been up on Steamwheedle Carten when it's up on Zul'jin. So it may be by battle groups. I have Pebbles done now but have been checking it daily due to people helping me out with it.

I have had the same issue many times. I made the mistake of re-accepting the quest but won't do that again. For me logging off and then back on has brought my quest back into my log. And I've noticed at least for me it always happens after LFR.

Also when you get a couple of pets to level 14 go to caverns of time and get an Infinite whelping or 2 make sure they are rare. I use those two almost exclusively for leveling other pets.
