Any chance you were fighting elementals? Call Darkness is a weather effect, and therefore the blindness won't work on elementals, as they are immune to weather effects.

I found my minfernal on a Brazilian server, so it's still a good option for some people. Maybe it depends on how different the server time zone is from your own.

The battle pets I believe you can see their stats, which some people are after certain breeds. If you just want the pet to have the pet, just pick the pet your looking for, do an AH search for the pet and pick the lowest priced one. Yes, and additionally, all pets in the "companion pets" ...

As described above is how I do it too: Pokemon Trainer addon for battle pets, and the normal "usable items" filter for companion pets.

I've read that there's a bug which causes a new Mr. B to spawn in your pet journal every time you log in (or maybe it's every day). It stops at 3 because that's the maximum you can have.
