I've been traveling between the three low level eastern kingdom dailies (Westfall, Redridge and Elwynn) on my low level priest. They give exp for the quest (14k at 62) and level 3 pets to 4 and 5. I know there are faster ways to level pets, but this gives me a double whammy of leveling pets past the...

Don't use your critter stone on any pet you can catch as rare. It's possible to get a rare snail, just takes some time.

I use a P/P (breed 4) flayer youngling with all of the attacks being 2/2/2. Love it!

If you have a clockwork gnome, they're good a good rare mechanical to level. Another good choice is some sort of aquatic (to take out the critters), turtles, crabs, crawfish.

1. Clockwork gnome
2. Water Waveling
3. Spirit of Competition
4. Legs
5. Flayer Youngling
6. Strand Crab

Those are the ones I rely on daily for the dailies.

On Major Payne, I've been using a clockwork gnome, water waveling and whatever pet I'm leveling from 23ish to 25. Obviously I need grizzle to start first for this to work.

I've been going through and getting all my rares for just this reason.

If you're going to use a stone on a pet do two things first. Make sure it's the breed you want and level it to 25 before using the stone on it. That way you get credit for leveling it to 25 twice for achievement purposes.

I use a Clockwork Gnome, a Water Waveling and whatever I'm looking to level from 24 to 25.
