My price limit for pets is 70k but on my realm they usually top that (the kite and robot chicken do anyway)

Living in England makes attending Blizzcon near on impossible for me (unless I win the lotto or somesuch ) so I've consoled myself with the virtual ticket ever since they've been availible, it's great being able to watch it all (and get the pet!).

Oh that reminds, I heard someone mention once that there is an addon that can show how long an auction has left on the BMAH and also how many bids it has. Does anyone know what this addon is? I've had no luck finding it.

I do try to check the BMAH fairly regularly. My main issue is that a lot of the auctions end while I'm raiding so I tend to avoid even looking on days I know I can't be available all day/evening to bid. I did bid on a dragon kite once but it went for 79k in the end which was a little over my limit s...

I got mine by making a DK on a non-CRZ, Spanish speaking, RPPVP realm. Population was unbelievably low and I found my minfernal within 5 minutes of arriving in Felwood.

I'm DEFINATELY obsessed with having all rare pets. I now only have one wild pet left to get as rare ( Gilded Moth ), all others I've spent as long as I had to in order to get rares. I made a couple of exceptions to my "no battle-stones for wild pets" rule and that was Minfernal , Scourged ...

This might be a silly question, but are you flying around the very edges of the zone? No. 255 in the top 500 and 2nd on my realm. Happy with that, I just need to keep leveling my pets.

Pets come from a variety of places. If you don't want to fish, don't collect them. Being a pet collector has always involved doing boring things, or things that don't suit your play style. So does collecting mounts. Or tabards. Or titles. I don't want to get exalted with the Order of the Cloud Serp...

I got my rare Thundertail Flapper by running circles around Diremoor and despawning every other wild pet (as long as it wasn't rare). It took a fair few laps over several hours but I ended up with rares of the Swamp Croaker, Elder Python and Thundertail Flapper that way. The little Electrified Razor...

Knowing this was coming I made sure I had rares are every single wild pet before 5.2 landed. That way I've only had the 4 new wild ones to worry about. It is a bit annoying though, I'm also nuking the pet unless it's uncommon in which case I leave it up for someone else.
