The mocassin was the very last one (pre-5.2) that I found a rare for the wild pets, it took me weeks of hunting to get one.

I went to the Isle of Giants for the first time yesterday. It was over-camped... I swear, I think there was more players than mob spawns... Later, I found that the 4 pets were cheap on AH so I saved myself the trouble of getting them the hard way. I will return to get bones later when all the craze ...

For the beasts, I like to start with Tranquil Mechanical Yeti and use Call Lightning (25% more damage for mechanical abilities).

Use Metal Fist and when you are about to die, use Ion Cannon, it hit them like a truck.

I just noticed that I still have my 3 Mr. Bigglesworth.

Did they reversed this part of the patch or are we somewhat 'grandfathered'?

Start with Bombing Run then use Decoy, then finish him with Missile 2 times, the bomb will go off, if he still got a few HP left, redo a third Missile or refresh Bombing Run.

Jade Owl : nothing special about its moves except that the owl is magic while its moves do flying damage. That makes it a very good pet against aquatic ones as flying damage do 50% more to them while aquatic damage do only 66% damage to magic pet. Add to that that magic pet can't take more than 40%...
