yesterday was flying my mage up to look for one, saw 6 spawns there and a rare elite mob, landed and they vanished...dirty rotten CRZ, also anyone else noticed that wild pets are almost never about in some northrend zones like storm peaks?

I have had awful luck getting the kirin tor familiar, I am still stuck at 3 of of the books read on my main, i have alts who have breezed to 6 books read in a few circuits of dalaran.
