That said, I NEED to have this in my collection! I think that it would be an interesting addition to the 2012 Olympics. They're being held in England, and corgis are well-known to be the Queen's dog of choice.

I suppose I don't understand why this can't be equivalent to the Winter Veil pets. Learned, but can only be summoned during the event. Their excuse seems... like an excuse.

I recently (sadly) had to leave a guild that I've been part of for a long time, and I was wondering about this myself until I went and made sure that my precious pets were still in my tab! Regretful that you may have to leave a guild based on your question, but glad to ease your mind...

I can confirm this. If you purchase and "learn" the pet so that it goes into your pet tab, you will keep that pet, even after leaving the guild and (potentially) joining another.

This is actually something I was wondering about myself. I knew that they didn't stealth, so I always put them away on my druid (Painful to do!) in BGs and the like. What do you mean when you say they are ignored? Do they disappear to the other faction? I'd love to have my Celestial Dragon out in BGs!
