Pets still don't copy over (on the other hand, you get a Mini Tyrael to play with Q_Q). If you want to test this stuff out, your best bet is to cage a bunch of your lv25 pets, including a lv1 rare raptor or cat with Devour, and then copy over. My spare Razzashi pup chewed his way to 25 pretty quickl...
It's amusing that people are complaining now that there is too much content! To me, it means that the pet designers at least are doing their job :P Now, if people could just get off their OCD to enjoy this (completely optional/sidequest) content... The forfeit damage and respawning features aren't i...
If you don't have a S/S bunny, upgrade a Spring Rabbit, since that's all it comes in. Probably the only critter that's really useful against trainers. Uncanny Luck comes in handy if you run a low-acc team (like a mechabear or something) but if you're like me, I can't be arsed to constantly swap agai...
Darkke wrote:So if we can't be killed while battling these guys, are these guys going to be immune to attacks as well? Our attacks not pet attacks. Just trying to think of all the ways we could be griefed.
They're not attackable with direct or aoe attacks, but they respawn instantly anyway.
If you're not trying to 2v3 trainers in order to powerlevel pets, you have a lot of flexibility in pet choices. For example, Aspects was one of my first pets to 25 actually, and I used him a lot but ended up finding that Flayer Youngling was a lot better at killing critters + he could heal. As long ...
I used my first aquatic stone on my Wanderer's Festival Hatchling and haven't regretted it. There's nothing super unique among the unbound aquatics and their breed varieties, sadly.
Major Payne -- Fluxfire Feline, and a strider/skimmer Payne (Icecrown): Fluxfire Feline + Flayer Youngling anyone else getting either of these to work? Yeah. You need a noobie that can take ~700 damage though (1k+ if it's a critter) and a fast breed rare Flux, I think. Fight goes pretty much like t...
Oh, that really sucks :( With a universal stone or a family-specific one? All the variable-breed pets I've upgraded have kept their breeds so far, unless I haven't been paying attention (Scourged Whelpling, Fluxfire, mechabear, gilnean raven, infinite whelp, ghostly skull...) I have enough trouble t...
I'd say no, since it doesn't even change the amount of xp that you get. Granted, the drop rate is so miniscule that I doubt it would change anything. Like Arvelayne though, I got 2 dragon stones pretty quick from the wavelings, then but a dozen pets to 25 later still nothing. Bait & switch I tel...
I like farming the water wavelings in Zul'drak. I just use a Feline Familiar that I rared-up, and with devour the thing never dies. The stuff there isn't really suitable for getting pets to 25 as they're only 22-23 but they drop dragonkin stones which I don't mind getting more of.
@Lughnasadh, I'd be happy to trade for it, I've got humanoid/elemental/beast at the moment. I've got raid until 10:30Pacific though, but feel free to give me a poke
There really isn't any conflict (right now) as the only use for charms is an extra roll on raid gear. The only way it is related to "pet progression" is that the higher level battles you do, the higher chance for a charm to drop. I feel safe saying that pet battles won't become a viable wa...
